I love seeing Japan and South Korea say no to immigration no matter how low the birth rates are.

The concept of mutual benefit👇 "Germany needs about 400,000 skilled migrants a year to make up for labor shortages, the head of Germany’s Federal Employment Agency, Detlev Schell, said in media statements. What areas need specialized labor?"

"Press 1 for English" pretty much sums up the failure of integration in the USA the last 40 years.

People naturally prefer to be with their own people - there's a reason why Vietnamese suburbs, and Sudanese suburbs, and Arab suburbs form, it's cause these people prefer each others company. Multicult just crams all these different groups with different backgrounds, values, races, religions, culture and history all together and then expects everyone to get along.

Yes, and the people at the top can't just make people be multicultural by mandatory tolerance classes and whatever.

Multi-ethnicity, not multiculturalism. If you migrate to a foreign country you need to adopt that nation's culture and language. Assimilate. Do not disrespect your new countrymen by bringing the baggage and troubles from your country of origin. Otherwise, FO.

That doesn't work. If you were talking about small numbers of people maybe but ongoing mass immigration of fundementally different peoples results in nothing but Balkinisation.

Perhaps our love of sport is a great uniting force where young people get involved and become team members. The greatest threat to integration has to be the woke ideology where everyone is an oppressor or oppressed.

Immigration should be a one in one out policy, a cultural exchange

Whenever I hear prognosticators I wonder if they have a track record on any outcomes. I am not so much putting people down for trying, we all do it, we all want to know what is ahead. Governments need to plan. I just think there needs to be a great deal of caution. Untill there was fracking who would have guessed that that would have been a thing. Several other places round the world have had similar unexpected resource finds. The explosive growth of China and the near catastrophy of Russia after the cold war were not expected. The sudden collapse of the family in the so called first world countries in just three generations. That a pandemic that took only about under 1% of the population, mostly the sick and elderly had an impact that we are only beginning to understand. The next pandemic could be way more deadly and yet our leaders may feel that economics is more important and what would that look like. Or perhaps we will be better prepared all around the world. Then there is artificial Intelligence that may/or not do as much for learning, science, the economy than industrialization or it may be a disaster. Who expected Trump to be president. I don't even think he did or that a lackluster vice-president that came out of retirement to beat him. The same technology that lets computers identify us by our faces can identify tumors better than humans. The unitended consequences for so much that is happening, the internet killing brck and mortar stores. May be more important than what the intended consequences are. One thing I will predict. The rate of change will continue to grow faster than our ability to plan for or control. Perhaps we will just get lucky!

Successful integration is very difficult in places where the culture is connected to land, soil and history, where people's ancestors have lived for countless generations, as is the case in most of Europe. Mass immigration is very wrong for these societies and countries, integration is also wrong, only true assimilation of small numbers of compatible foreigners can be acceptable. P.S...refugees from neighbouring countries who go home again after danger has passed are always welcome!

A more quality of immigrant into the USA would occur if the welfare state was not present.

They mean Professional Drug Dealers, Social Benefit Seakers and Prostitutes. They are needed for servicing the demands of the foreign population, while Germans and true immigrants cannot find a currently a job above 1000 Euro. Ja, ich weiss es persönlich.

From what ai gather they seem to need low qualified labour, that is what they are importing anyway. As well the rest o Europe

@@knightheaven8992 They don't need even that. You see, you can get excellent Philippino workers that will work perfectly and detailful in zero or low-skill jobs, but the elites target people with below zero skills as social leeches for virtue signaling. There is more to the story than the people can imagine.
