Yeah this sounds like an introduction into the new direction they are taking. Been a fan for a while and you still get the elements that make them who they are but they are definitely experimenting. Definitely can see the Sleep Token and Bad Omens comparisons in that regard. So long they keep true to their violincore elements while doing it they will only get bigger.

@@TheErazar I only mean in terms of them not being afraid to experiment their sound. There's really no other band that actually sounds like them. Maybe Apocalyptica? They use cellos instead of violins. I could see the comparison of Eddie to Noah but Eddie doesn't sing falsetto. Both have great voices though.

@@KingKiller5555555555 yeah, I'm not a big fan of comparisons myself. But the vocals do sometimes sound similar, at least for me. And production. What I really love about the band is the cello, really makes them stand out. This song's outro is a banger!

I'm very confused why everyone thinks they now sound like Sleep Token. To me, they have completely different style. If wearing a robe or mask in a video now makes you sleep token, half of the genre are sleep token. To me this is just an evolution of Imminence's sound, much like the difference between previous releases and this new albums theme. This has all the hallmarks of Imminence. I honestly think Sleep Token are only mentioned because of their meteoric rise in a slow industry. I like sleep token, but Eddie has a heavier tone and better screams, without a doubt.

Hopefully not, i'm afraid of Sleep Token overtaking the scene and other bands copypasting this, while i'm not a fan of Sleep Token. In this case this is a problem. Especially when the bands copy some other band, feels like there's nothing individual or self-creative.

@@Vixfor_ well sleep token is really nothing special either, guitar work is lacking and vocals are a bit over the top, most of the songs are blank space with some occasional trap beats. Its not even that bands are copying the sound either, but now anytime a band goes for a “sexier” sound then everyone thinks it sounds like sleep token.
