A video at the right time. Remote of my car keys were broken and I tried to change the same. While doing so, my duplicate keys immobiliser fell down (thank god I had retained it). Had raised a complaint with Mahindra for unable to start the car. They were saying new set of keys have to be done without even identifying this issue. After seeing the video, I opened the working key & fit the immobiliser at the right place & now I am able to use both my keys. Thanks Birlas paarvaai

I saw Birla video and today 11th Dec 21 I went to the shop (malar keys) to get foldable key for my i10. The service was very good and price is reasonable. They have keys for almost all the cars, bikes. Thanks to Birla and the shop owner.

Very useful info bro and live demo was much needed. My original key was not working back in 2015, then researched and found one guy in youtube helped to saw it for programming, so i bought second key then i did it myself for my car with the help of another working key.

I had a problem with immobilizer antenna and had to shell out 6 k.. towing, couple of guys who came for inspection.. finally the repairing work at the dealer.. the code control is with dealer only and the local mechanics could not repair the key error. Wish the video was posted two weeks back so that I could have understood the key error and immobilizer issue myself instead of spending money on what went wrong!

Hi Brother, Good question. Usually Immobilizer is a separate ECU inside the vehicle. The method shown in the video is Transponder key System, there are other methods called KessyIO(key less access control system), PKE(Passive Keyless Entry) these methods use a reading coil located near the key holder to read the Keyfob.then the key will transmitted to Immobilizer unit to verify the authenticity of the key to unlock the vehicle
