@@shotgun3847 Groups provide more crit damage for you with sets like Elemental Catalyst and taking into account slottables like Backstabber, Fighting Finesse or skills like Barbed Trap that also gives Minor Force, Khajiit will go way over 125% crit damage cap in a group scenario which is a "waste" since you'd be better off with more Weapon/Spell damage instead.

Typo on your build page: You refer to storm master as light armor. "It seems as of Update 36 and Update 37, the most logical conclusion of a pure heavy attack damage setup for pretty much all classes ends up in a light armor setup with Storm Master...."

Dear NefasQS HATERs, I owe my life to Nefas. On February 24th 2023 I was in a Coma for 6 months after a terrible Car Crash. I could barely move both of my legs because they were broken. One day my eso friend visited and he turned on the latest NefasQS video and it happened to be the IMMORTAL Heavy Attack Sorcerer Build - TWO IRs & Rare Polymorph Drops. So I got UP and while puking I manage to turn the Oakencringe off.

I am so dead tired of these heavy attack builds, since they're everywhere now. Literally everyone I know has one or more of these now. I adopted one for one of my damage dealers but I rarely play that way. Yes it's cool you have this, yes, hurray for accessability and all, but it's just bloody everywhere and it is making things feel really dull even mere months after birth. Many people throw variety to the wind, it seems. Good on them, but I don't have to like it.

Like I said - variety. I enjoy the creativity in builds, talking and experimenting. Variety and dps have a hard time coexisting sometimes, I guess, but it bothers me. And it only really does because it's really everywhere. I wouldn't care, at all, normally. Makes things too simple. It's like, at the lowest point, we're at Unreal Tournament level, where you press number keys to pick guns, and everyone uses the same gun for anything, all the time.

People often use the meta builds, but not not that many, and there are a lot more interesting things to talk about there. There's always an exchange of ideas, and a lot more ingredients to the pie.

Posted up a 94K 1 Bar Oakensoul Trial Dummy Parse last night. This build is sick in PVE content. It really sucks that sorcs don't offer more to group comp, but this Oakensoul format can be used on just about any class... none of the others slap quite as hard as the Mag Pet Sorc though.

Feel like this might be an elaborate troll, but could be wrong 🤷‍♂️ If it’s not I’m pretty confused ngl, promoting HA builds sets new players up for failure later down the line… Just trying to deal with people wanting to run them within the groups I run with and the guilds I’m in has been a massive headache… And many raid leads have either already banned them or are considering banning them from their runs because of their obvious limitations and selfish nature To clarify what I mean about them being selfish: they don’t provide anything to the group/can’t run most support sets, aren’t well suited to doing mechs (high health & their damage relies on a sustained channel), promote learning bad habits (I.e. standing in stupid that might not kill you on vet, but will kill you on hm), discourage people from rezzing/being a team player (loose much more damage as it relies on a sustained channel, can’t simply drop dots and go for the rez), if oakensoul based - limited bar space for utility/group support skills, function best when the entire group is running them creating rifts in existing raid groups, massively susceptible to ZOS’ inconsistent habits around balancing/nerfs (as the entire build is reliant on a single buff, a buff which has already been reworked countless times), discourages people from working towards “mastery” as there is little incentive to learn objectively more difficult play styles for most players On more of a personal preference note they also just make the game boring AF. Tested one out, since I could hardly make an informed opinion about them without doing so and I caught myself almost falling asleep while running vet dungeons. Which is to say it made content hilariously easy and also very boring. If this play style ever becomes the meta that is required for HM content, I think I would find a different game to play

The game is already boring AF without "them", what else could it be with the static content u have to run over and over... Even Diablo 3 has more fun with random spawns of the elites and their skills and almost endless difficulty ladder. To me such heavy builds is just chilling playstyle for those who wanna chill (or doesn't love pianowise rotations with high CPM).

And yes, DPS amount is not the only measure of a skill which most ppl actually are trying to use as a noobfilter. such abilities like taking less damage/high survivability, doing mechanics and having fast learning curve is more important...

HA sorc is already doing better than any other class on dungeon trifectas. And that's including survivability, damage and overall difficulty. Abd that's considering that other 2dd s in the group are old style 2 bar builds, therefore the group is not optimized for HA. So this HA sorc does more single target , way more group target damage, has a thousands times better sustain and survivability. You might as well drop the game now, because it ain't getting any better for sure.

Hahaha I know of another group on EUpc been doing this too all heavy attack builds, these builds have been going a while now, very popular and handy to those struggling to make decent dps...... But have to say nefas... You're probably gonna get this nerfed now 🤣🤣

Why would it be nerfed? This was specifically put in the game by Zos as an accessibility option. It’s not some broken combo discovered by a sneaky player.

@@RJrules64 Everything in the game was specifically put in the game. Sometimes they make adjustments. 'Accessibility' doesn't require you to be able to parse 85k by using something to hold down your left mouse button and then going afk.

@@MClaudiusMarcellus I disagree. Sure it's easy to parse but in actual content you've still got to do the mechanics and everything. It makes that content more accessible, but no one is going to be breaking any records with it when you can only do 75% of the damage that a regular build can do.

@@MClaudiusMarcellus you can't get 80k only holding down the heavy attack. If you only heavy attack you get around 60. With Diedrich prey barb trap both pets u get 100k. So nearly half isnt heavy attack. 2 bars clanky looking and the skill it takes to achieve this feels uncombat related like if some1 in cod found out how to up the dps through simular mechanics its cheating.Getting good at animation cancel n weaving is some guild wars shit. Blocking reflecting dodge timing should make you op not animation canceling n weaving.

My grandmother could probably get Immortal Redeemer now. Is this good for the game? I thought "skill expression" or whatever was part of ESO's core philosophy according to the developers. I don't see any signs of skill in this achievement, just a fool holding down 1-button with occasional breaks to spam his shield.

Your grandma has always had the option to purchase IR from a carry guild. Do you disapprove of carry services? If you don't, then why do you care about the title being cheapened by Oakensoul builds?

@@k-3402 Maybe you should think through your arguments carefully instead of merely making observations. You can buy a PB carry, but the difficulty of the achievement sets the price extremely high and keeps it exclusive. So the existence of carry services doesn't necessarily diminish the value of achievements to any significant degree. If a trifecta is hard, the price for a carry is high, few players can afford it and therefore it has a negligible impact on the 'prestige' of the achievement in the community.

A "parse" is the damage you do compared to others who have logged the fight NOT the damage you are doing in one particular group. If this is a PTS/PTR server parsing isn't even possible as the log websites don't even track them.

What are you on about? Parse technically means to resolve something into its component parts - I.e look at what is making up your dps. As in, you’re dummy parsing. Then, that has colloquially made its way into content as in “I’m going to parse on this boss” which is slang for “I’m going to just do my optimal combat rotation like I would if I was parsing with a dummy”. A “parse” has nothing to do with the damage you do compared to others who have logged the fight.
