[Intro] "I am content to die for my beliefs So cut off my head and make me a martyr! The people will always remember it." "No, they will forget." A man who walks with God can walk anywhere Hence I fear nothing [Verse 1] The point of guerilla war is not to succeed It's always been just to make the enemy bleed Deprivin' the soldiers of the peace of mind that they need Bullets are hard to telegraph when they bob and they weave The only way a guerilla war can ever be over Is when the occupation can't afford more soldiers Until they have to draft the last of you into the service And you refuse because you don't see the purpose The only way to counter the insurgents that are well-equipped Is to paint the people fightin' for freedom as "terrorists" Then find a faction, lookin' for foreign investment Install them in power and murder any objections You can't stop a revolution from breathin' So to beat 'em, they offer people the illusion of freedom But when you're done dreamin' and wake up tortured for treason Then you can see them, hidin' behind the god they believe in [Hook] Deep in the trenches, in the heart of a war That's the place a martyr is born (Motherfucker, it's on!) During the night before the start of the dawn That's the place a martyr is born (Motherfucker, it's on!) When gunshots are raining in the heart of a storm That's the place a martyr is born (Motherfucker, it's on!) Guerilla war when the army is gone That's the place a martyr is born (Motherfucker, it's on!) [Verse 2] The purpose of life is a life with a purpose So I'd rather die for a cause than live a life that is worthless I don't need the circus or the day of national observance I need you to think for you and stop bein' a servant Pawns only move a square in the game that they're used in And realize it too late, like the shooting of Huey Newton Or Patrice Lumumba and Salvador Allende Slaughtered by the power-hungry branches of their own gente Ghandi wasn't killed by Pakistani nationals He was assassinated by a Hindu radical And Che Guevara, rebel to a U.S. continent Was sold to the C.I.A. by Bolivian communists Wasn’t Yitzhak Rabin murdered by a Zionist? And Anwar Sadat a victim of the same violence? Malcolm X was seen as a threat to the F.B.I. But to blast ‘em they used Muslims from the N.O.I. Even the 35th President of the Republic Was murdered by factions of his own government So now that it’s proven, that a soldier of revolution Or head of an empire, disguised in a constitution Can not escape the retribution or manipulation Of the self-appointed rulers of the planet's corporations So I'ma need every generation to put your hands up ‘Cause you can only get ‘em off your back when you stand up.

All his albums are like that. Rev vol 2 probably the best album there is in my opinion. Meaning ability message, it's all there with tech. It's all there with every artist he features. He won't get the credit he deserves in this lifetime but I think the future will see this and be in awe. It wasn't all of us that were asleep.. I'm not really religious. I like aspects of every religion. Think the Bible probably just a tool for control. The mainstream media of their time. It did say we'd war principles and that's where we are. You can't put a gun to indentured servitude where people think they're free, and think society is fair, think it's a democracy. One love to all my brother and sisters who see the truth🙏. One day the people will win out. We got something worth fighting for..

I was born and raised in a family that was not rich, but was hard working. I started my first business as a sophomore in high school. People have called me priviledged before when I've sat and done business with wealthy individuals. I was given nothing for free and I've always refused to apologize for having what I've earned. In this country it is possible no matter who you are. My native language wasn't even English.

Are you a multi-billionaire that benefits from foreign wars? I never understood how this shit offends people like you, people who are millionaires or just well off. Also the basic statistics of economic mobility contradict your statement about possibilities. Your views are skewed because you had it well off, in a way no working class person would have.
@DerekThomasLirio3 жыл бұрын
@@Artamentous I'm not offended Luke, the ramblings of a stranger on the internet, believe it or not, have very little importance to me. You say I had it well off. The only thing I had was persistence and the education I acquired on my own, using resources available to everyone. . Yes, I educated myself. I decided to do that, I was not handed anything. At the age of 16, I was the one who walked into the office of an executive producer at a local television station. I'm the one who did the work, and because they were satisfied, they referred me to others. Is my situation outside the norm? Yes. What sets me apart is simply that I'm determined and motivated. The only privilege, as you call it, that I have is that I was raised to not accept failure and always find a way.
@Artamentous3 жыл бұрын
@@DerekThomasLirio By virtue of being born rich you are placed above someone raised in slums or a 'ghetto'' Step back and consider how you were even able to walk into that room, the people who were able to raise you. Your very morals are shaped by your own privilege. Your guardians had the opportunity to actually step forth and care for you. "education I acquired on my own, using resources available to everyone" Quite a few people don't have access to this, think about individuals in the un-developed world. What about kids who drop out of school in-order to join the workforce, just to feed themselves and their family? Everyone is set apart in massive ways, some more obvious than others. I doubt your ambition was the only role that played into your success.

@@Artamentous Everything I've ever done to earn a profit, I learned on my own. I started my first business during sophomore year of high school, and have helped others do the same. I'm talking about in the United States. If you want to help the starving children in Africa, get a job and buy a plane ticket. I've been able to do what I've done because I worked for it and will not apologize for it. I've also helped many others to develop sustainable income that has helped their families. Doing what I do has helped many others. I started out with no outside funding and have been able to develop everything I do throughout the years. If you're not going to succeed because of poor people around the world, that's your choice.

@@DerekThomasLirio The original content Is talking about events around around the world. I am one man and cannot stop empires, nor undo apartide. I'm making the assertion you had privilege, and not saying you should feel sorry. I'd call it a strawman, but you are clearly pulling from arguments similar to mine. The difference here is I don't give a rats ass about anyone with below 100 million in assets or funds. Why? Because anyone above that is the elite, those who love to exploit labor and opress nations for their own greed. Oh, and money isn't the only source of success. Money is only a cemetery to many. Eyes in the sky lyrics: [Hook: Mojo of Dujeous] I am the eye in the sky Looking at you I can read your mind I am the maker of rules Dealing with fools I can cheat you blind [Verse: Immortal Technique] Yeah, my truth is the ark of the covenant buried in Ethiopia Watch who you fucking with in Minneapolis Somalian, when I go home The world I use to know is gone, and now I'll live on my own For what shall it prosper the rapper with creative control To sign a deal with the devil and lose his soul My still born first expression is cold Like the faces of slave masters on the paper I fold Subliminal racial supremacy choking me quick Like the bedtime stories of Joseph Smith Lynch mob gunning for me, trying to murder my seed So shorty put 'em in the Nile in a basket of reeds And now I stare in to the future with a spiritual flashlight Wondering who the fuck was me in a past life Bad diet, fuck raw, die young, fast life. Same as a crash flight that took off when the music died on your last night Tell 'em the truth and they call you a traitor Talk to 'em honestly and they call you a hater Losing my composure cause the message is urgent Talking reckless, drunk on the mic, like Larry Merchant Cursing at the serpent Sumerian demons Who brush their wings against the air that I'm breathin' A heathen with nothing left to believe in. Even a reason from living that was forgiven by God and not religion Envision Jesus risen from the dead like Horus In the baptist church shaking off the rigor mortis The borders should be illegal instead of the people That were here before the Bible and all of its sequels I speak to the detached and unrealistic That were born normal but turned socially autistic We resisted homeland securities mission Because I know what they really envisioned [Hook x2]

Imagine a movie that depicted the pain in your life... Like them kids in Afghanistan, chasing a kite, For most of the world... THAT's WHAT ITS LIKE! ...damn that hits deep, and very real the US makes up only 4.5% of the worlds population UK 0.87%, etc. I believe something like 80% of the total world population lives in poverty, but we are just over here living the 'American Dream' I never really thought about it, and that's crazy for MOST of the world that's what it's like!
