Hes trying really hard to get off on it but swollowing the eye wouldn't work. Liches don't "regenerate" from their phylactery, its not a clone jar. They possess any near by corpse within a radius around it (line of sight not required). Also why no liche should ever keep their phylactery on them. Ideally you would keep in a safe space surrounded by perserved bodies in good condition to possess.

There is this story about a goblin (I believe) that ate a lot of troll meat. The troll regenerates inside his belly, but get's digested at the same rate. So the goblin is now incredibly strong and fat. This video reminded me a lot on that story.

Except paunch didn’t burst, he just kept growing and took on their traits… I think he might have had an ulcer or two or 12 for it to happen… he may be fat, but now he’s also got no more ulcers.

2nd phase is just him chasing after you on all fours super fast because he "wants to try something"

Phase 1: he attacks you like a classic warrior, but the lich occasionally independently throws minor spells at you that can stagger you, setting you up for a nasty blow. Basically a mild bullet hell. Phase 2: depending on whether you did more damage to the lich or to the barbarian, one of two things will happen: 1. The lich will be freed from his post, rejuvenate his limbs, and then destroy the Barbarian and attempt to defeat you. 2. The Barbarian will rip the pole off of his back and nom down on the lich like a kebab, and then go to town on you.

@@leyrua No in phase 1 the lich won't do anything. In phase 2 after you do enough damage he'll fall off the barbarian and start casting buffs on you but the barbarian is faster and his attacks do more damage. In phase 3 the barbarian reveals his true plan and instant kills you. Then he cuts out the lich's tongue again and puts the lich back on his back because their is no escape.

I would honestly watch an entire series about the adventures of this incredibly deranged barbarian; he really comes off as someone who has seen too much, done things that no man should ever have to do, and who - instead of descending to madness and possibly becoming that which he fought to eradicate from the world - in the end, decided to take the middle road to being a hero, which is the most dangerous kind of hero. One who applies combination of cunning, intelligence and ruthlessness in ways that only the most deranged villain could appreciate, but only when applied to someone other than them. This is perfect example of a hero a that the world needs, but not one it wants. With heroes like this, who would be mad enough to become a villain?
