I got stuck where you need to get the ogre's finger and put it on the statue to light up a pathway of torches to do one of those race to a spot challenges. Now that I'm passed it, I've gotten much further up the mountain! :)

Thank. You. So. Much. I literally spent three hours trying to climb the wrong side of the damn mountain. This is all the developers fault, they give no direction whatsoever as to where the hell were supposed to go. Literally how are we supposed to know which exact cliff the climb? Oh and that stupid air thing is so dumb. I kept falling over and over it was so frustrating. Anyways, thanks for the help. Now to defeat my brother with nothing but 15 pomegranates and 2 defense potions.wish me luck I really need it lol

It makes no sense to me. The devs make it clear through the entire game there is a reliance on stamina for climbing and getting through challenges, then completely throw that out the window at this part of the game. That plus the giant area way point giving you pretty much zero indication where to go just make it feel like the devs were running out of time and made this go against the rest of the game as a quick challenge and never really though it through. I like the idea of Cold Zone, in which you (kinda) lose your Godly ability and engage with world exploration, but they don't show any guidance to achieve the goal or what progress we're making, which is quite frustrating. Also, snowy weather really makes it difficult to see surroundings. The biggest disappointment came at the last. It would've been unplayable if it weren't your video.

I've played 80% of the game and completed all the other islands without a guide then this mountain comes out of nowhere ... of course it'll stick out like a sore thumb. just look at the comments. Quest markers were everywhere - now the whole freaking ice island is a quest marker lol. How else would you defend that? It's doable. Sure. It's relatively challenging. Sure. Is it annoying af? Sure.

i'm sure you've beaten the game already, but for anyone else just getting to this once you reach the tower of themis, or the tower of the fates, you can fast travel back to them so you can go upgrade stuff and come back to that spot

I hated this section. It was such a pain. I fell off the side of the mountain and couldn't figure out which way to go to get to where I was. The cold kept zapping my stamenia. So I had to start from the rift again. I'd rather fight numerous enemies than have to deal with stamenia sucking sections.

Getting lost wasn't really an issue for me. The Mandatory puzzles to progress especially constellation took me the longest. Took me about 2 1/2 hours

At 34:20, Prometheus talks about the Zeus statue looking off into the distance. I followed and then found Poseidon, who is also looking back and down at Hades (under Zeus), and Hades is looking at something else, but I haven't been able to find what I'm supposed to be looking for. Any thought?

I’ve had this happen for a few different puzzles. I had to reset things to get it to load. Once I simply had to “rest” and another time I saved, exited the game, closed the software, and reloaded the game. So I guess it depends on the glitch.

One of the blue pearls was missing for me on a different puzzle. I used the rest feature and it reappeared. Easy fix!

I was thinking the same, I'm guessing he just played the story, didn't get many chests or vaults along the way to make it more of a challenge for himself. I did the opposite, nearly getting every chest and vault, maxed everything to like mastery level 15 at this point, but it still doesn't help with this stamina sucking cold lol

Hi All I’m having an issue with this Quest. I’ve read loads, I’ve watched loads of videos. However the torches you have to light aren’t there. I’ve been on top of the Eagle and de-fogged the area. The only thing I can think is wrong I’ve not had the marker show up on the map with the Quest on. Im Stuck any help would be gratefully appreciated.

They probably have it so you can't skip ahead of the game and you need to wait until you have the quest Family Emergency, to race your brother to the top, before going to Kings peak island

At 11 minutes you arrive at the lake where there is one lit flame, you light 2 more, then you dive in and go underwater and swim up to the challenge. When I arrive at the same spot of the single lit flame, the unlit candles and spot where you dive in are covered with ice and I cannot access the dive in spot nor climb up due to the cold. How did you get rid of the ice covering the dive in spot? This is driving me crazy!

This is the hardest part of the game by far, just ow 😣 But then again, even with most of the upgrades on your preferred weapon, they had to make a certain difficulty. Said difficulty just happened to be the mountain and it’s friggin’ cold areas Update: Finished the game twice and still no damn first DLC, was “supposed” to be out on the 21st 🤬

To the commenters talking down about this section, or the game in its entirety, by now you know that this game doesnt hold your hand all that much and thats what we as gamers want. challenges. Patience can be a challenge too. figuring out where to start was tricky, because i started at the king of gods statue and tried to cheese my way to the highest point from the get-go that didnt work out too well, couldnt figure out where to go from there. And the stamina draining gets you nowhere. But if you think of it as climbing up a mountain path, most of it makes sense, and i appreciate the environmental aspects of the mountain. Botw is too easy and everyone knows it. Thanks for the video!
