I love the fact that Ares carries the bear that accompanied him when he was a chicken. That is so cute. I also just noticed that the bear is mimicking gestures when Hephaistos is talking, because it was used to mimick chicken Ares.

I had everything fully upgraded before heading to King's Peak, and after demolishing Ligyron and Typhon's first fight I was worried I was way overleveled for the final boss. Luckily this was way harder than both those fights and actually really good. Much better than Breath of the Wild's final boss that's for sure.

I thought the final boss was too easy because all the gods keep interrupting and doing damage to him lol. I would have rather just fought him alone. I've played it twice though now and always 100% the game before going to the final boss and you really just get way too powerful by the end of this game for most enemies.

@@brettpardue8786 Yeah a lot of his attacks aren't too hard to avoid, and you just demolish him if you go all out with combos. Maybe they could've given him a stun gauge and made it so you have to fill it up before a god can attack.

This game was an underrated gem and an absolute fucking delight. Ran extremely well docked on the switch with only a handful of crashes, which only happened to me during 2 cutscenes and 3 other times during the looting animation for coins of charon. Voice acting was absolutely spectacular and the game was incredibly fun. This game is IIRC still half off at the time of this comment, and its barely been out a month. Was worth far more than the $30 i paid at target. As a caveat, I love Zelda, Im a soulsborne vet, never got into any Assassin's creed but I know this kind of game is Ubisofts "schtick" for what its worth, I had a blast.

Last battle was tough but I enjoyed playing this game. Also made me want to play as the gods of Olympus. Cannot wait for the first DLC where Fenyx gets to become a new god on Olympus. Hopefully it’ll include the ability to fly instead of glide in this open world. The fact that we have wings and even Pegasus but can’t fly is ridiculous.

Died about 4 times for this fight. The worst was making it to after Zeus beats typhon to a sliver of life just for me to die after. Funny enough, the last try which I won....I hardly used potions or got revived. Realised pulling yourself to typhon and rampaging on him is the best strategy.

Typhon is a vindictive, cruel, and arrogant gaslighter. He wanted the Greek gods to suffer the same way as he did, abandoned Phosphor when he needed him the most, believed that he is better than anyone else at anything, and tried to feed blatant lies to Fenyx. This monster is no better than the Olympians; in fact, he’s much worse. I thank my Christian god that the poison Typhon drank ended up being the thing that killed him!

The worst part is that despite the role typhon plays in the story, he isn't wrong about the God's rehabilitation because everyone and everything they've done is true. And it doesn't help that in Zeus's eyes the mortals are a mistake, but the gods are even worse when they harm the same mortals who praised and believed in them for their protection against threats like typhon. Makes you wonder who are the true protectors of the planet.

After the first fight with Typhon, I was kind of pissed off since it was so easy. In retrospect though, I am a bit of a completionist when it comes to open world games, so I had fully powered myself up before I headed to this fight. I had thought in my head “really? This is it? Wow, that was anticlimactic.” I’m glad I was wrong though. This fight still wasn’t that difficult, but it was still more challenging than the first, which I’m grateful for. This is another thing about the game that give’s me BOTW vibes. The final boss is only about as hard or easy as the player makes it in how much they’re prepared for it.

Some of the puzzles were god damned annoying in this game and other jerkiness with the excessive climbing, water mechanics ect but the story was top notch once it took off (when you free the gods or get closer to the end) esp liked freeing Aphrodite and Athena. Aphrodite being unsure and you reassuring her “the passion is worth the pain” & Athena being a child and insecure and so you have to reassure her that everyone counts on her and she is up to the task of being the goddess of wisdom Poor Prometheus. Wish there was a real post game explore where you could go and free him but I guess save that for god of war 😅

Me: FIRST. TRY. Guy (In Fear): Uh.......right this way sir. So yeah I just beat the final boss agents Typhon today and it IS doable without doing all the side quest, as long as you have the Armor that gives you health on every hit you damage the enemy/boss and a few others, tho I do agree that the game went WAY TO FAR upscaling the difficulty for Typhoon, I understand he's the final boss, but with all they want you do do, they could have ease it up a TENCY BIT.
