The combat looks just like God of War's if not identical in many instances. Seems to be a merge of another game by Ubisoft in it.

It was a list of three explaining the game in comparison to other games. If you’d held on a little longer you’d have gotten to the bit which references the use of the Olympic pantheon in both myths and Disney’s Hercules.

You have me a bit torn now. I adored Breath of the Wild (absolutely phenomenal environmental story telling and combat) and despised Odyssey (it had moments scatter far and few between in an otherwise enormous vacant world, and the combat was _not_ at all challenging/engaging for me at least). If they've reined in the size of the world to be more like BotW (eg. big but packed full of _different_ things to see/do) then there's a lot of hope for it. I'm going to really hold off until I see a *full* play-through before even getting remotely excited for it specifically because of that Odyssey similarity you kept bringing up.
