5:26 I think this is unironically a good idea for a video game. You get transported to a magical world and just get to lay waste to everyone with modern weapons, while they use spells, swords, and bows. I remember there was a game that came out in like 2010 that was about a guy who was sent throughout time to stop disasters from happening and you could use assault rifles against like Civil War soldiers. The game apparently sucked ass, but it's still a fun concept. Edit: I looked it up and the game was called Darkest of Days.

Isn't that typical with gaming nowadays? I barely hear about anything, but I don't spend almost any time on social media besides KZbin so that could be why. For me it wasn't that quiet, I saw from e-mails, KZbin ads and a gaming news channel. Seen less from the "bigger" titles like Starfield. I believe I started seeing Starfield ads after the game came out, but they were then pointless as by that point I had already seen non-commercial videos of it. Too many games being made, limited hours in the day. I get a lot of video game ads and almost all of them are indie games, so one of few places I'd get ads for video games is occupied primarily by indie games so Starfield, Armored Core 6 and others aren't given to me almost at all. I barely play video games and when I do it's a few PVP games, so it's not like the indie game amount is personalised as they're indie and either SP or co-op. But my KZbin front page is filled with these bigger titles for one or two sessions, so ads aren't necessary at least for me. Someone will upload something with the game title in the video title and I will get that on that page at some point.

If you want to play another magical-like FPS, I recommend AMID EVIL. For their 'shotgun' its a mace that shoots out shards of ice and their 'rocket launcher' is a staff that shoots mini planets.

I weirdly love hearing that one comment towards the end about platforming. Seriously, FPS platforming got a lot of crap in its history, but its actually gameplay and I personally never had an issue with getting it done. In a lot of ways it was fun. Give me that any day over the automatic distraction machine Uncharted invented of following highlighted markers that are virtually loading screens while you wait for it to use artificial exposition or set pieces to make it exciting.
