I made this and it’s one of my favorite desserts. The taste reminds me of vanilla custard gerber baby food (I put a pinch of vanilla extract) which I love but they discontinued it a long time ago. I also used tapioca powder instead because I didn’t have agar or gelatin so it was more of a pudding.

If we are using agar agar powder then how many spoons of powder should be added??

I wonder if this could be done with roasted japanese sweet potato, to capture the sweeter roasted flavor. Roast, peel, mash/blend with enough water and sugar, then finish recipe as normal. Possibly even adding some orange zest
