OMG, it's so hard to find yokan! I had it for dessert once from a Japanese restaurant while traveling across the country, and no local places had it. I once asked the lady and the local Japanese restaurant, and she said that most Americans think it's gross. :(

I used to eat yokan when I was a child in Cleveland, Ohio. I don't know where to buy it in South Florida.
