I love the idea of adding an aromatic like the gardenia fruits when you boil 🥰 could you use other dried fruits/flowers/teas for this too? I’m wondering about maybe using cardamom for a more spiced flavor~

I'm going to give this one a try. I'm not sure exactly what the difference is between American and Japanese sweet potatoes, but they look similar. So I think it will work. Thank you.

Please do! American sweet potato contains more moisture so cut the amount of water in half.

I have never tried but you can! Purple potato has less moisture in it, so add more water to it. Let me know how it turned out!
