I understand about the flute you get a confidence in your instrument and the fact you have had it since the 90s its like an old faithful friend hope you get it sorted out interesting seeing the old houses we have a shopping precinct now where there were lots houses the street names are still there as a tribute all the best donny xx

I think it's a great idea to take your flute somewhere else at this point. It makes perfect sense that you would know when something is off with it. I have to tell you that I just love these virtual tours of Cardiff and Wales! I don't get to travel much but I am so curious about other places. Thanks for sharing it all with us 😻😻

A flute pad shortage! That explains a lot. Love that museum. I would have liked to see some close ups on the little shop building that looked like a dollhouse. Too bad they will have to move. Hope the new flute fixer can do a longer lasting fix. Must be harder if you can't get good parts.

Bless you. It’s not ridiculous at all to be so attached to an instrument that’s been with you for so long and is such an integral part of your life. It’s beyond frustrating when something you’re so in tune with (no pun intended!) isn’t as you know it should be. I’m only just starting the video, but I hope you manage to get it sorted

I think its rather lovely that you take your music and specifically your flute so seriously and feel so passionatley about it. I'm not a musician but I can fully appreciate how upsetting it must be for you when your flute 'feels poorly'. So nice that you had a lovely lunch with your mom, and do a little snooping around. Some of the flower, Fall Lego kits are so nice, but sure are pricey. The Cardiff story museum is so interesting. Such a great education tool for school kids. Hope you get your flute sorted, as that is like your "fine wine"... it needs to be in top form.

It's advertised as an A+ energy rating on Amazon and everywhere else, but the thing that came with it said it was F, I think? So I don't know if it's just two different codings at work but I noticed my smart meter showed a lower reading once I exchanged my old fridge for this. That museum looks really interesting, right up my street. I visited Cardiff just before the Dr Who experience closed down in the bay. I stayed a couple of nights in a hotel called Sleeperz right by Cardiff Central Station. Don't know if it is still there. I'm not sure if that new BBC building is sort of across the way from it. I have a vivid picture of places in my head but can never place anywhere when I see your vlogs. It was November and the Christmas Market/ huts were fully open and I had some mulled wine and Welsh cakes of the griddle. Yummy. I did go into McDonald's, which was opposite the castle. It was a beautiful sunny day, and i sat outside having my coffee. I work in a McDonald's and I sent a photo to my boss and asked why we couldn't have such a lovely view. I'm not sure if that wasn't the street you showed in your vlog today when you walked by the castle Is it Queen Street???? I thought how clean and tidy all the shops were and how friendly everyone was in Cardiff that I spoke to. It's not silly to be so attached to your flute. You had it more than 30 years, that's a long time. It's a very personal item to you and you've been on many adventures together. Oops sorry for long ramble

I think sometimes people aren’t sure which way the lens is facing. At first it was pointing in his direction and he suddenly appeared. I’ve had people waving their fingers at me indicating not to film them, when in fact, I’ve been in selfie mode with a people free background. Particularly in France, I noticed and also French tourists in Portugal. The only other finger wagglers have been security guards in shops in Portugal. The ones in the UK all seem cool with it.
