Not sure if your viewers know this but TJ Maxx is known as TK Maxx in the UK because when TJ Maxx first arrived they realized there was already a store called TJ Hughes so to avoid confusion they changed the J to a K

Phew what a relief about your flute! I would love to spend an afternoon shopping with you! The arcades are so much nicer than malls. Its sad so many of the stores in them are empty.

That's a relief your flute isn't lost. Scotland have awful storms today and tomorrow, they are evacuating some costal areas. My Scottish friend got sent home early because of the worsening weather and schools are closed. We've had a lot of rain here. Its not that cold though.

It's a great shame that so many shops on the high street are disappearing...where I live there are almost no shops left at all and our one and only lovely old Victorian aracade is due to close...sadly I think it is the fault if the local authorities, they tend to charge ridiculously high rents and business rates that make it prohibitively expensive for small businesses to manage to survive. It is also partly due to us all ordering everything on line I guess, but it is a viscious circle - In my opinion!

So glad they found your flute. I would have been furious. But at least you got a small discount as an apology. It’s dreary, wet and windy here in Birmingham too. Not so bad as expected, but it’s meant to be worse tomorrow. I prefer this to the heat at least 😂

Ha you did much better than I would have done at being calm about the missing flute! I would have been on edge! Btw not sure if you saw my Beijing video- but I mention you in it because there were loads of people out in the park playing traditional Chinese instruments and I kept thinking you’d probably have loved to have been there to see that - I didn’t do a good job of capturing them though!

15 bucks is not too bad on the cowboy hat, I know here the cheapest ones are the 8 dollar ones at the halloween store. The really proper cowboy hats can cost up to 1000 dollars. I just bought one at 7-11 for $30
