@4:15 One reason, I’d guess, she now mostly sings the “Mmm, whatcha say” part the alternative way is probably because now the first version is evocative of Jason Derulo’s song, the SNL skit, and the memes that came from that.

Control all the software, First record the voice to create the back, then module and filter the voice live. Volume, record the loops live.

Hand shapes and movements. She’s the creator of the gloves, so she works them really well. She also produces her own music. So she’s used to making these sounds on the computer. She just wanted a way to do it live, and that’s why she made the gloves. You pre-program the movements and everything. Then you use the hand movements to carry out the program. If you see other people, like Ariana Grande, you can see people experimenting with it.

I never heard the original, so I have no upset feelings. This song is mesmerizing and sang beautifully. Coupled with her use of Mi.Mu makes it rather spectacular. Do you have vocal performance you would like to share kayls369?

@@stumplifter So not only do you have no idea what the fuck you're talking about, but you're trotting out the embarrassingly feeble defense that criticism is invalid unless delivered by someone who can do better? Go listen to the original. This is an interesting reinterpretation, but it loses all the charm of the original and replaces it with gimmicky technology and muddy ambient droning.
