I’ll never forget one of the years I went to Coachella and IH was playing one of the smaller tents right around sunset. This was around 2010, right before Coachella REALLY popped off and started the two different weekends. Anyways, my friends were hungry and were going to get food. Just barely audible, I could hear her starting her set. I completely left my group and watched her entire set. Her was one woman putting on a show that sounded like it was being done by 15 people. All that was great but the thing that really stood out to me was how empty that tent was. And I kid you not, I got the feeling that IH was kind of annoyed by the audience… but even so she put on one of the most memorable performances of the weekend, which is saying something.

KeiyaValecourt Totally agree..she is pushing boundaries and I couldn't even think of a better fit for these gloves! You could tell that she wasn't satisfied after the performance, but I believe everybody in that audience was aware that they were a part of witnessing history in music & technological innovation. Seeing a part of the process is captivating in and of itself because most artists do not show this side of things (especially in America where they want everything perfect before they ever perform a new song). Not that there isn't anything wrong with a perfect performance, but there is something so authentic about the fact that Imogen had 5hrs to write this song before the first time she ever performed it. Imogen Heap's music carried me through some crazy difficult and lonely transitions and times in my life, even over a decade ago. To be watching her throw herself into such an incredibly HUGE project makes me feel like I have a lot of work to do when it comes to putting effort into the things I am passionate about (lol let alone figuring out what that is at this point in my life. Was acting and music, but now I have kids and work in a gym. Not what I imagined my future to be!) I think she not only moves people musically, but inspires people for life! She is so cool. I love all of her music, her production sounds like composition and everything she does is so freaking ethereal. I also really want to get these gloves one day when my band is rich and my damn student loans are paid.
