It pains me so, so much when Richie and Carmy are screaming at each other, and Richie keeps shouting "I f***ing love you!" It's such a raw reaction to be served terrible words from someone you care about, _and_ still be heated in the moment, to then try to find the tact to stop yourself from saying something worse.

Carmy definitely didn't make all this happen alone. He'd scrapped the idea of a new restaurant until Syd came back at the end of season 1, when he pitched and she agreed to stay. She also brought Nat in as project manager, asked Tina to become her sous, and suggested sending Marcus to Copenhagen. Carmy is the one I believe sent Richie to Ever, specifically.

I didn’t notice it until someone pointed out that you could hear Marcus in the background has Syd for counts on bread and cannolis and she wasn’t responding resulting in his outbreak.

The thing with the fridge guy is that Carmy repeatedly said he'd handle it. Every single time. And when people get things done he said he'd handle but forgets to, he freaks out like he did with the shelves and the painting. Which is why it's called a Carmy problem. Syd was having a little panic attack because of how hectic that service was despite it being a friends and family service, that's how I saw it anyways

Carmy is also on some bullshit, he had 3 months to call the fridge guy. Sydney and Nat both offered to call the fridge guy, but Carmy said he'll deal with it. The fridge guy called Carmy and he ignored it and now that he's stuck in the fridge, he blames cell reception, not knowing frige guy's name, ketchup packages, shelf index, blames Claire and himself. but it's all on Carmy.

Agree the fridge thing was all on Carmy, there is a lot that you may have missed or interpreted just thru Carmy's POV and not thru the entire story being told.

Agreed. Both Nat and Syd had their own set of responsibilities to manage. Carmy lost focus along the way and a consequence of that was getting trapped in the walk-in.

19:37 You can't possibly be serious about blaming Syd and Nat when they did all the work while Carmy was out having a fling 😅. This is all Carmy. Also, it doesn't matter what the guys name was. Everybody had a different name for him but Carmy had him stored as "fridge guy". Whether his name was actually Tim or Tom, if he had placed the call it would have gone through regardless.

Donna is eternally negative, not matter the situation. Pete is eternally positive, no matter the situation. But when you put them together, Pete was no match for Donna's powers. She was able even to make Pete upset, not my being angry or bitter, but by being vulnerable and explaining her feelings.
