Great job. Good tips. I have been using iMovie for about 9 months or so. Piece by piece learning. If I see something cool I use KZbin videos to see how to do it. I have found I absolutely lose track of time doing this. Love to vlog and share our life and travels with it. I appreciate your help. I'm subscribed!

Looks like imovie has improved quite a bit. For people who are doing basic edits with a bit of the functionality of final cut pro or a similar editing software, this looks like a good option!

It’s really great for quick projects or on a slower Mac. If I shoot with good lighting and have some extra shots planned out…iMovie will do the job.

I remember wanting to get a mac 10 years ago to have iMovie and edit videos for free and giving up because it didn't have everything I needed. You've just given me everything I needed to make semi-decent videos! WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN THE LAST 10 YEARS?

Been using iMovie between the iPhone and MacBook for several years now, but I learned a few things in this video. I wasn't aware of the keyframes and didn't know that you could select a range to mute a small section without splitting the clip. Thanks. I'll definitely use those.

Hi, I have a question: where do you find these little pictures with transparent background? Because when I download some from google - even if they have this checkered "transparent" background, the background actually stays visible if I edit it into a video.. is that a copyright protection?
@KrystaWirkala4 жыл бұрын
I'm having the same issue. I've tried about 20 photos that supposed have a clear background, but they all either show the checkers or show up white when i add them to iMovie
@agreengaming39594 жыл бұрын
Krysta Wirkala uhh I think u should use something that can remove the back ground of the image like for an example,photoshop(free mobile version)

@sergiomartin41903 жыл бұрын
I used iMovie on my iPhone since year 2017, but I switched to use MovieSpirit since year 2019 as iMovie has many limits when I tried to do some advanced edits. Personally I think MovieSpirit is the most easy one for beginners as it can overlay multiple layers as we need in one go and it has more editing functions comparing to iMovie.
