iMovie Tutorial - Custom Title Animations

Learn how to make custom animated titles and custom animated graphics in iMovie with no additional downloads or plugins. In this video, I'll show you how I use both the green screen feature and no green screen at all to insert more exciting titles in my KZbin videos.

I have been fighting with iMovie titles for three years now and this has made my life so much easier. It was not only easy to follow, but also used programs that I didn't have to hunt for, pay a subscription to, or learn a whole new set of skills. Even Keynote, that I had never used, was very simple to adapt to following your tutorial. You are very good at teaching technology and, I can tell, you are very inventive. I don't know where your talents have led you over the past year, but thank you for sharing!

This was fascinating to watch. To state the obvious, it’s neat seeing a video like this because now I feel like I can do this. You’ve pulled back the curtains a lot, and I can see what’s going on. I have a map! I expect that I would take longer than 20 minutes or whatever, but that isn’t the issue I was having. Honestly, it was just where to start.

It’s always enjoy reading your response because you appreciate things in a way that differs from what a I expect. To me, this was a tutorial in response to a video I made almost a year ago. I had received a lot of positive feedback and subscribers from it, so I wanted to give them something else. I wasn’t at all thinking “people want to see what’s behind the curtain”, so when you shared this with me, I thought it was really cool.

Cool video on your post production editing process. Many years ago I heard editors say that the green screen would have to be illuminated properly as to not have any shadows. That probably would indicate a smooth green screen. I liked how when the First Lady had that sharp green plain dress👗 on for a special occasion and some news people took and changed her dress pattern. Thanks for creating this and your other videos!!!
