I have been listening to your podcasts today and they are, of course, wonderful. What is particularity resonating with me right now is the idea that by accepting ourselves with the help of others creates the healthy attachment we so desperately need. I often feel self hatred where there should be healthy attachment and I so want to heal from these feelings.

I could relate to all your talking about with this topic about during upbringing with all the humility, and shame anxieties, ocd’s,shyness, aftermaths from the traumas which when it became a routine, and it eventually becomes a false attachment because especially your natural needs never met,and no closeness with no real feelings of any love whatsoever, and there was no real connection, and because very disfunctional family environment with hideous types of punishment to endure on daily basis for a good eight to nine years i called it neurotics or neuroticy 🙏

I say when put threw this type of traumas can lead to addictive behaviors being hard to get control of with self discipline
