I'm a 66-year-old Vietnam area Viet. That contracted hepatitis C in the military. And after almost dying in 2015. I got the cure that came out that year. I pretty much lost everything. My 13 acre ranch, my wife and children left me. And after I got the Cure, which did save my life. I started collecting meteorites. And after 3 years I have a very large collection from around Oregon State. And although I have hundreds of pounds of what I believe to be meteorites and meteorite associated pieces. I am just one person that has taken it upon himself to find and collect meteorites and all things associated with them. Including a lot of impact glass. Not to mention lunar meteorites and meteorites that I believe Are from Mars. But I have had a really hard time getting these verified or even to talk to anyone that actually knows what I know. If you would be interested in seeing and helping me verify which rocks to send in forverification. I would appreciate the help. Thank you very much. I'm looking forward to hearing back from you. And I have much appreciated your shows. And the information that I've got from them. Thank you.

Thank you for this episode i was waiting long time for tectites and impactites! I spending most free of work time on meteorite hunting! Tectites i hunt only once for rare moldavite from Moravia, but i didnt find any. True moldavite, you can tell under microscope for bubbles and swirls of lechatelierite, which cannot be faked so far! That jewelry piece set in gold was also with garnets. Astonishing green libian desert glass! Museum grade for sure!

Hello. Listen to you and learn much great info. We live in Frederick County Maryland. Believe we have a meteorite from a January 1919 fireball that traveled over Maryland, Delaware, and Pennsylvania. Submit pictures to: facebook.com/groups/isitameteorite or facebook.com/groups/meteorite.or.meteorwrong. The power of the Facebook Groups I recommend is that there are a bunch of knowledgeable geologists and meteorite people in there.

I have a ball of magnetic iron with a shatter cone of opaque green glassy material through it. The pinch point of the shatter is pristine. The red hematite has been expelled and forms a ring around the cone. Everything outside the red is magnetic. A full description takes paragraphs. I’m working to get it scanned and imaged. Some scientists somewhere should be interested in the force required to turn iron to glass at a molecular level.

@@TopherspinMeteorites I’m going to spend probably thousands to image the interior. I’ve just learned about high res micro/nano tomography and such. I think Cambridge offers the technology at an hourly rate. I don’t want to slice it. The concept of what happened to this object and me digging it up where I did will need a video presentation.
@TopherspinMeteorites2 жыл бұрын
Seeing that an official meteorite can be classified for about $400, I would advise you again spending thousands of dollars to do what you're trying to do.
@DanSk4512 жыл бұрын
@@TopherspinMeteorites You bet! A microscope may solve my suspicions. Still, I’ve started an account at Cornell. I can trust their microscopes. Basically for that price. And then it’s at the right place if words like wadsleyite arise. It’s not a meteorite so meteorite people have been a straight shut down. Zero curiosity about the word ejecta. If excess of 5 GPA has created something rare here, they can scan longer, and I’ll pay. If not, I’ll slice it for circle of green glass surrounded by a ring of red hematite and 2/3 around with magnetic iron. It’ll look purdy. The strongly magnetic iron section may pose a threat to the instruments though, so cutting a sample will be a last resort. The entire object is interconnected. The iron protected everything above it at a 71 degree angle. Yes, I think I have a horizontal shatter cone. I love the channel, and thank you for caring about people getting scammed.

@@TopherspinMeteorites Hello again, another question. All these years with a magnifying glass, I didn’t notice. I sent a picture to my local university and for the first time expanded a closeup of the flat surface that has always looked like melt to me. Beyond my regular eye magnifying glass. There is definitely separate particles imbedded in that melt. Could a microscope give much information about tiny particles, other than confirm their existence?

whole world , yes i am crying again , i didnt even stoped and still go on , sorry , but this is so tristy for me and us all , his name whas PAUL , he dieded a terrible deth , they filled him after they abussed his wife and killed her and there children before hi was killed by the machette , it whas in 1994 , i whas in Belgium at that time , when this happent , and i wouled do so much i cant realise anymore to see him back , to take him in my arms and say how much i love him , to say how tankfull i am , but i couldn do this all cos i still did not worked enought that i could effort me one ticket to go back to Rwanda to see him , and at that time i felt from the roof i workted on , just at that moment , i felt from above the 3 th store , somthing like 15 meters on my hands and my head on the side of the road , and survived it , i would go back above on my ladder , i wanted to set my hand on the flore , my muscules atracted and then i feld all the pain and réalised what was happened , whent i whas in my fall i colded Mitch , thats the litle byname of my moms , and remember that i rebonced whent i get the ground , i shrimp 8 cm in hide all my vertebres or how called , where broken or the pedicles , my arms where ructed that my ligaments where arached , so thats why i couldnt set my hand on the ground then , yes yes , i know it is terrible also , called a miracle , and this is it , there whas someone begint me protecting me to keep me alive , one angel whas passing by then , i dont have doubs about that , to me it whas PAUL , cos i knew him , i knew hi loved me much , on the picture at front of me when i whrite my storry , i am in his arms , i whas 3 or 4year old , i could show you that guys , how he looks me whit so much love and care , yes , hi whas a real dady , i can tell , hi whas everything to me , but now , i would have to go one , to say short , since child i walkted in the bush and played and lived my bike mountains away when i played with al my black friends , sometime they take me at there place , and it whas like a dream for me , this dont exite anymore , tyhere haved very beautiful and very very clean cours surounded whit strow wales , there whas tree or four big huts beside and one huge one in the center , i whas diferent time invited to eet , and remember it whas so good , but Paul whas one very good coocker as well , this man could do everything and if i can today , it is because of him only that have done the way he grouwned us up , he whas streng to , like a dady and my real dady soft , but sometime when neded he was streng to hahahahaha , and whit me it whas neded , cos i whas uncorrigable , i have to admit it , hihihi , but now , i whas interested in stones , i brought a few at that time to belgium , but mosted i leave there , and later on i go to Madagascar where i am maried and have one daughter , so shes half blooded beautyful lady from 11 years old in january 24 , i am very proud of her , i called her Zitah , respond , i hope i can get this soon , belgium did not wanned to reconised my mariage and not even after 12 years we are maried , could you believe this , this is onthinkable to me , and is hurting my hart atr this moment very hard , again , yes , but have to tay strong , i did also not haved invalidity , so i trying to survive at best i can , and it is not eay for me , i get haved hart surgery 8 afford harley , but i would for shure , to me the vulcan kawa is the best i could afford me , i haved a huge car accident tree mounths after my roof fall , with a Rover SD1 6 liters V8 BI TURBO i maked , it whas so quick in right road it twisted when you gived gas , i maded a monster from this car , and haved i Cicuits gear box , yes yes , i whas jung and crazy , and i still am , the day this cant go one , then i die , yes , live to ride , ride to live ;-) but now , go one with stones , i am interested also in metaldetecting , and have found in my garden strange stones , some very small , others bigger and some looks the same and others are different , and i think of some kind of meteorite like thing , and this detected with the metaldetector , tod first a kind of kopper but its not , but have more the in betwin structure like koperi stonish , and weight more than a stone by my toghts and they atracted by magnet , one other one who i found by this way , is bigger , black with like a glasy extern corst layer but inside it is very dens structure and not glassy en have some orange like this kopper one color steps and paterns , also attracted by magnet , i could take a closes fine picture to show or even a litle video to show it , and hear what you are thinking or have yours advise , so so i have still lots to say but will keep it for today , hahahaha i have interest of gemstones and have lots coming from the southern of madagascar where i bought grownd to set a hous on when i am retayerd or retraited , i am comused a bit , have saphires, rubys, and , and lots other
