@@eliezerramosjr1017 That's probably a better term. I am old school so "mechanic" just popped in my head. I meant nothing derogatory about it. As a tradesman growing up it was a term we used for a floor installer who had become highly proficient. Again, old school. Guess I need to step up my game if I plan on commenting anymore.......

We have a shortage of tradesmen in Australia. No one trains apprentices any more. I'm almost at the end of my career as an industrial electrician. It has paid my mortgage off and allowed me to travel around the world. Has set me up for a comfortable retirement. I hope the young bloke appreciates learning from a master. All the best for the New Year to you Eric and family . 🇦🇺

Thank you for taking the time to mentor the high school students. I have said all of my life. I did not get to where I am alone. Many people were kind enough to share their wisdom, knowledge, of their professional experience to help me grow in my work life. McKay has a great opportunity and if he plans on taking up a mechanical technician position, he is working for the best trainer around. Thank you Eric for taking the time to share your experience, knowledge, honesty and integrity. Hope you have a blessed and Happy New Year

He's got one of the best teachers out there, and he won't be leaving being a parts canon launcher. Your diagnostic strategies are solid, and is equally valuable when applied to in many other similar industrial fields. Also, lol at GM for placing the canister at just behind the back wheel where debris will accumulate and often ruin the part. If only those engineers would watch this channel too, but hey, at least they're providing the college funds for all of Eric's children.
