Impale Bladefall Trickster

Here is a look at my impale bladefall trickster. We utilize the entropic devastation gloves to enable impale with bladefall by capitalizing on a self cast crit spell trickster. We opt to take this character the CI/Evasion + Energy shield defensive kit while other versions for more damage may opt for lowlife. Overall was quite a fun build to play and put together and I hope you enjoy it as well or at the very least it gives some insight to creating an impale based physical spell caster.

I played a Blade Trap trickster this league with 2 Ephemeral Edges and CI. I was able to hit nearly 12k ES and like 80k Evasion. I can totally agree about the 3% global defense tattoos. I replaced as many dex nodes as I could with them (I was doing a bit of int stacking and took the mastery to make int give evasion instead of Dex) and it is really strong. It is like a "free" 30-40% ES/Evasion which pair together so nicely because of trickster. Glad to see you using it, it is really strong! Build was also fun by the way, blade trap is pretty cool.

It feels so weird seeing a door and wall behind lance after so long of the old basement background haha. I've been wanting to do some impale with those gloves for a few leagues so it's really cool to see it with bladefall, I also love seeing restless ward being used.

With that much charge duration, Accumulator Wand seems like a pretty solid charge generation option as well.

Thanks for this tip! In trade it might not be worth it but in SSF, combined with Frenzy on Kill somewhere it sounds like good tech.

When he talks about the crafting it's like I am listening to another language. And it's been my experience if you can't craft the gear you pay 3-4 times as much. So in reality it's a 300-400 divine build for mortals like myself. Looks pretty strong either way. Neato build.

For charge generation on trickster I normally just slap on an Accumulator wand and call it a day. With Ralakesh's impatience and Restless ward your charge pretty much never runs out.

might be worth trying Anomalous Concentrated Effect for extra hits. i recall last time i tried to reduce BF AoE as much as possible i got ~13 hits per cast/activation against a large target with Anom Conc + Woke Cascade + Intensify/Arcanist Brand (in a Golden Rule + Consuming Dark test). requires perfect aim for that amount of hits, but it should also increase the hit count consistency. wish i got a "reduced AoE" amulet when that was possible.

Hey Captain, I've been considering something like a Spellblade/Energy Blade ES stacking heiro with Battlemage from Forbidden Flesh/Flame. The idea was to keep the gem levels low enough to be triggered rapidly by level 1 CWDT. With Bladefall having a 1.4 added damage multi, the massive added damage from Energy Blade and Spellblade/Battlemage would make up for the low level on the triggered spells. Now, bear in mind, I've never even poked a stick at a build like this because I've no clue how to do a well rounded ES stacker with decent damage and so, I may be talking nonsense here but I wanted your opinion, if you've got the time. Could it be something great or is it just not a realistic possibility without uber budget?

The stuff not animating properly is a bug caused by some mtx, try equiping different armour sets, I had that same issue and swapping mtx fixed it.

The mana looks like a pain but otherwise, love me some Rain builds! Only tried BF/BB so far but it’s just not the same as this Blade Blade.

Easy, you're not guaranteed to freeze everything esp not pinnacle bosses. Bladefall doesn't have amazing single hit damage which is what matters for elemental ailments
