Despite his egotistical persona on yt(which I love), Joel is so aware and humble. The amount of times he said “I’m lucky” and “I’m privileged” was so real of him. But when skizz kinda said that he does deserve this and put in the work made me tear up. 2/3

I'm willing to bet this is already in the pipeline. We don't even have to ask. It would be beneficial, and for balance, to interview more women, to see content creation from a woman's perspective. How do they juggle video production and laundry? Not only an interview with Lizzie, but with FalseSymmetry, StressMonster, and ZombieCleo. This will be a challenge for "the boys", no doubt. But worth the experience.

Found Grian in 2015/16 doing biuld swaps and build schools, then he joined Hermitcraft and ive been a viewer of probably 75% if not more of the Hermits sinse. But what really blew up my Imp and Skizz love was a mixture of the life series and Impulse joining the botem hole crew. I definetly watched lots of Impulse during season 6, I remember the creation of iTrade and biulding in that little pirate cove and I was soo blown away with everything

I only started watching Hermitcraft after the crossover with Empires, and I've been hooked ever since. This season I'm watching as many POV's as possible, I absolutely love Impulse and Skizz, and the chaos they get up to together and with other Hermits. So glad I started checking out the podcasts!

I tore my ACL at 15 playing tag. 😅 stepped in a hole and my knee twisted. Joel isn't alone doing it at a young age lol

With regards to inventory space. I have been going through Etho's let's play series and it was funny because he was basically saying the same thing about how it is so many more blocks but same inventory space in an episode from 11 years ago while discussing the upcoming release of the ender chest.

I didn't pick up Minecraft until I was a full grown adult during COVID lock down, so I'm still in my honeymoon period with Minecraft KZbin. I love all the content out there and consume it on the daily. I agree that a new audience comes up all the time

the idea of an entire stadium sat watching a smallishbeans video is INSANE to think about & it’s just a fraction of joel’s audience omg

The audience comment Etho made is so interesting. Joel's take on it rings true except I've never played Minecraft.. My friend introduced me to mindcrack 10+ years ago and I've been watching creators in this space ever since. It's just fun to watch something creative and entertaining!

Freshman year in high school so around the same age as Joel, I tore my ACL playing soccer and had to have reconstructive surgery- so a year recovery with the hamstring graft. They had to drill through my growth plate and had a very similar injury/ recovery. However, I went onto university to play. It's a lot of hard work- but it's doable! But range of motion isn't all there and now being 10 years out of it, I still have inflammation and aches and runners' knees by the age of 25. Now 30, I don't do much contact- just coach.

At 30:15 Joel explained exactly how I found Etho. I grew up watching Lizzie and Joel and just last year I got into the life series and immediately gravitated towards him. Incredible episode

I just want to say, this podcast is one of my favorites of all time! And I really appreciate the both of you for doing this. We may never see eachother, but you guys do make a big impact on the world. Honestly, this podcast helps me feel grounded seeing how similar and disimilar we all are as people

In ten years I hope that Joel's still very happy doing what he loves and I hope that I'm still watching the videos of the man that I have first watched back when I was in 6th grade. I'm graduating college next year and I'm still watching Joel (man time flies). It's been so fun knowing more about this man who I consider a childhood hero through this podcast so I'm very thankful and I just wanted to say that I thoroughly enjoyed it!! 🤍🫂

It's so funny hearing Skizz talk about learning to edit on Avid -- it's notorious for being difficult to learn because it was built for people who were used to the process of editing actual film like physical reels of film -- and it's still an industry standard TO THIS DAY

It’s nice to hear Joel talk about RuneScape. I played it as a kid too and I just picked it up again 20 years after I first played! It’s really fun and has gotten me into gaming where before I felt like there wasn’t a point cause I wasn’t good at it. Great chats all around ❤️ love this podcast

If Joel’s channel ever dies out and he stops posting I think I might die with it. Also if the day comes when I get the chance to meet Joel, I would be soooo nervous to talk to him but so grateful at the same time.
