Before I came to Christ I loved heavy metal, much like this, but secular music that I used to listen to and think about all sorts of evil things. After I acknowledged my sin and asked for salvation, I got rid of all that music and listened to main stream Christian music for a while. I have nothing against main stream, it's all great stuff, but this speaks to me in a way that I can relate to. There is a lot of energy in this music, it urges believers to stay strong, faithful and alive in Christ, if you take it just for the lyrical messages. This music helps me to focus on my faith and to be repentant of some of my fleshly desires and in that respect it is a blessing to me. Love this band and many others in Christian metal and various similar sub genres. If I can't catch these guys at a show some day, we'll all walk together with the Lord in Heaven and we can sing to Him there!!!

+Christopher Gaddis I really don't like mainstream christian music. It is very common for the bands to completely steal a song (note for note) from another band, or they steal a popular christian song and just add a chorus or a few verses and then sell it. We are supposed to use our gifts and talents to worship God, but Lincoln Brewster is the only mainstream christian musician that I have heard who actually uses his musical ability. Meanwhile, almost every single christian metal band fully uses their musical abilities and they use all of their energy to worship God.

I'm so sad 😢 they got rid of the inaudible, tusken raider noises, autistic screeching, senate-core-like, triggered feminist noises, neck beard grease drip, high pitched ugnaught squeal bree style vocals they had in their 2005 demo. It was literally the best thing about this band. 😔

Gabriel Chavarria I love it as well. It's so brutal. For their 7th album they should create a mixture of the 2005 EP, serpent servant, there will be violence, baptized in filth, death will reign & the sin & doom 2 all together. I'm talking how the instruments were played, break downs, bass drops, vocals etc... plus, I think it would be cool if they experimented a bit with their music. This band IS BY FAR my most favorite band of ALL time. There's not really any songs that I dislike by them. God bless you and have a grand day. PRAISE MY SAVIOUR THE LORD GOD ALMIGHTY, JESUS CHRIST!

Usually I don't like calling people names especially on the internet but your right. He won't say it but this band has one of the most talented drummers to ever play metal. There is absolutely nothing wrong with their lyrics.
