It's good, but they're only doing it because their recent published games are bad and they're a bit desperate. The standard model of unfinished games followed by expensive DLCs is not working anymore, go figure ?

Genuinely one of the most fantastic things Paradox has done, an absolute gift to the community. Would love to see CK2 get a similar patch for modding limits and much-needed bugfixes!

Literally less than zero percent chance. Ck2 is over and they have no reason nor should they go back to it. Crusader kings 3 is the only crusader kings that should be worked on atm and it’s absolutely still in need of a lot of work to fulfill everything they promised

​@@nekogaming5300 it need a lot of work. Like I simply do not enjoy the direction that they have been taking CK3 with their DLCs. Like minus the fact that some users feel they are not greatly implemented, it does not help that some of the major dlcs does not even work in multiplayer. Ck2 never had that issue.

@@david12596 well in case you havent figured it out, paradox makes single player games much more a focus than multiplayer. Multiplayer might be an option but no crusader kings game is designed toxwork with people. Ck3 needs societies, an earlier start date hopefully, more events to do with development and more importantly than anything, more depth in general

I agree to all that, however even if 90% of the users are single player players, it's not good design wide to add a mechanic to a game that does not work properly across its different modes. Like I feel that's kind of basic design 101. Add to add that I don't understand why I would buy a dlc and feel that I need to turn it off when playing with friends. That makes no sense and feels like a huge waste of money.

@@david12596 mate i don’t think you are considering how tiny crusader kings multiplayer base is lol they would essentially be working months to get like 4 or 5 hundred people able to play when they could use that same time to make a new dlc so profitwise it’s fairly clear that they will be going for the dlc. Obviously im all for doing both if they can but they won’t and we both know it
