Ok, this is the ONE time I will support earning achievements with mods. The Invictus mod was pretty much entirely responsible for keeping this game alive. They’ve earned the right to have achievements earned in their mod.

Paradox managed to do what the Byzantine Empereor never could. Stand up after defeat and restore Rome to full glory.

I understand why they didn't but If this game got the support of mod games I'd be optimistic. One of the big things for me was end date. I would love to build up through the empire struggle late game with crisis, corruption, rebellion, plauge, and then have to resist then end game crisis- huns. I know ck3 does alot of this but I like the setting and economy focus.
