Angrypolack There's some serious potential for sure. I just cant wait to get some real time looking at gameplay!

Rome practiced tax farming. Basically they said we need X amount from X province and would hold a bid to private contractors . The highest bidder got the contract, and would gather X amount of wealth based on property (land, livestock, chattel etc) though the rich hardly paid taxes(basically the same as today in the US) and the tax farmers would take a little extra for profit. This often led to poor farmers losing their lands because they could not afford the extra on the taxes.
