Played it only once with friends at a birthday party. Took me a while to figure out the rules. But it definitely is a fun concept.

Having invited guests is a great idea! You should work on improving text tips during video, because flat rectangle with text isn't clearly readable. And make some magic with your microphone or modify your sound input with Adobe Audition to make it clearer and crisper. Thanks for the video!

@@UnfussyBoardGames Depends on how much you want to continue this kind of media activity. If you would like to continue, then it's a must. People don't enjoy struggling. Poor readability and bad sound create this struggle to enjoy a video. When planning to play the game for the first time with a company of new people, your video will have the least priority to be sent because there are better options out there.

Wow, I had just the same situation as you, I have played a couple of times, but never with the "experienced variant". The first time I played I hated the game, the swiss bank seemed to be the most powerful strategy as you can buy shares more often than other players, but when you are the swiss bank you barely play the game, you just watch everybody else playing, not fun. The second time I actually enjoyed the game more, it has interesting ideas and interactions between players, I like it now. I will make sure I play it with the advanced variant next time 🙂.

I know, right?! I might have played it another 10 times at the introductory level if I hadn't read into it on BGG. I just think of "variant" as "optional". You must check out the "Highlights" video that I made for this one to see my cool opening for the game. :-)

I have no clue how to make a you tube video, wish I could. I am not on any social media sites either. Do not own a nice camera at all either. I have made my own version the games of "Risk" and "Axis & Allies" combined, if you have played those before. I have added the use of Oil to Risk along with just a small portion of the stuff from axis allies. Have not shown it to anyone yet...so I wonder how I could make a video? Am not very technologically educated Lol's this was a very good explanation of the game though. I understand how The Global Elite do what they do a little better now

Thanks Stu! I have not played Risk or Axis & Allies which might seem surprising! That's amazing that you are dabbling in game design. You would be surprised how easily you can make a video. This was my first attempt. I use my phone to record, Davinci Resolve for editing (free software), OBS for screen capture (free). I just have a laptop and it really struggles to do the video editing though, you need a good graphics card. After that all you need is KZbin tutorials - and a LOT of time! Go for it!
