good... IMO should build an express route either as a subway or sky-rail along the G:Link tram to allow for stronger development along the area that's as luxurious to live in as this seems to be. You create a bus network with simple, long routes & high frequencies and branch the tram/metro towards the east at the center of the city and the Gold Coast could be adjusted as a transit-oriented city, while still being very welcoming to people who choose to drive, very easily and cheaply (because the Gold Coast Highway is wide, and the stations shouldn't need to be as insanely grandeur as Melbourne's.) Something oughta be done about the housing price problem.
