About This Game (from steam)
Welcome to Ultimate Epic Battle Simulator 2, the most ridiculous and insane battle simulator in existence! Well the ak47 are possible in 40k as the m1911 and m2 50cal are in 40k lore

I agree with your comment on this map (while epic) being a bit too flat. it'd be interesting to see how the gun line work on a map with a bunch of natural hills, (though come to think of it there's probly just going to be blood pools which eventually just get filled in

This game and Arma 3 are fantastic games for Warhammer 40k battles. This one shows the vast numbers and bloodshed while Arma 3 has more mods and let's you be the unit or drive the vehicle. Once again, amazing video!

So this Hive has a sister hive. The Imperial Guard has more time to reinforce the second hive. They have all the same ground troops as in the first hive, but they are able to get 10 Leman Russ (these are deployed exactly in the middle of the entrances to the hive, blocking access and allowing the troops to fire longer), 10 Imperial Commisars with Plasma Pistols (Tesla models, deployed amongst the troops), 5 Sanctioned Psykers (Cleopatra models, deployed behind the ground troops at the points where Hive 1 defenses first failed) and 4 blocks of 100 Roughriders each (Mounted knights, deployed in the city proper to be released when breaches occur.) I'd love to see what kind of a difference it makes.

I think a battle where the defenders are on the low ground with over whelming superior fire power, aka a bunch of space marines and tanks. The only way the enemies win is if they bleed enough blood to drown them....

I kind of really want to see. The Astra military, because they are able to shoot, I want to see them get into an actual gunfight with chaos, because I noticed you put chaos, with guns but they never shoot.

i think this is definitely going in the right direction, id like to see some more defensive positions from the defenders, my favorite part of these videos is seeing the firepower throwing hundreds into the air, so things heavy weapons on high ground and things such as that would help a lot with the immersion and cool factor

I'm wondering how a modern tactician would arrange such a defense; I'd imagine that they'd make use of the buildings (I understand that the game can't or doesn't allow that). I'm imagining gunfire pouring out of the windows into the back racks of the attackers & running out of ammo (or battery power) being a major concern.

Oh definatly, the lore does not hold up to logic! The amount of ammo you would need to supply a guard army of millions like that in each battle would be insane. The logistics alone ......

@ChaoticPinky I'd guess that's why Lasguns exist. No ammo logistics if you just need a power pack which you can recharge any old way, though with such a large battle you might run empty anyway.

Do you have any videos where the defenders win? I've not watched your whole backlog, but I have watched probably 8 or 10 of them and every time the attackers have eventually overwhelmed the defenders. It would be nice to see some battles that end the other way too.

The battles I do are based on lore battles that exist. It seems in the warhammer lore universe the defenders rarely win in the smaller battles, as they tend to happen near the start of the wars. This means that the major battles where defenders win are far to large a scale for me to represent here and normaly happen near the end of a campaign.

Ive watched the same number as yourself, I have seen one lopsided defense win. You could see the writing on the wall before the battle took place. Thats more the problem I think, every battle we already know the outcome.

What can I say, you are complaining that the battle is lore accurate ? Because the defenders in the lore of the actual fight were outnumbered some 1000 to 1. So yeah what are you complaining about ? That the results of a battle thats already predetermind by lore is obvious to call ? what are you talking about of course it is, with out even watching the battle you can go find the end result ...
