Thanks for your Comments. Yes, it had not been cleaned. Unfortunately, when we arrive we start filming before we go into the room so did not notice until the camera was rolling. At that point, it is hard to take back our arrival and when we filmed the 2nd room aspects of the first room was mentioned in the video so could not separate that either.

having had experience staying at the imperial i found it a depressing rooms that are cold old wooden draughty windows and rooms are not properly clean. hotel is credited to be 4 star but that must have been some years ago i think it would be hard to push 3 stars suggest try brittania grand in blackpool at least it is warm and clean .or a b&b.

I like blackpool but that hotel doesnt look nice very old fashioned too l like the hotel sheraton its lovely

We went there for years and saw a very steady decline. Massive turnover of staff , the standard of decor has also gone down. Food not always up to Hotel standard. Best person to contact is Alison who runs the whole place and gets things done. Im Charles DeVere from Ribble Valley.

The Imperial has had a new manager. To be fair, the Management Company that manages the Imperial is great they also manage the Lyndene.

Second room: No bedside tables - how would you get in and out of that bed on the right side - much too close to the wall!?!? They've put a double bed in a single room! Kettle revolting. How much did it cost? Excellent review. Did the hotel comment on your observations? Please let us know.

Thanks for your comment. No hotel has not commented on this video. Was given a brief apology on the dayby Hotel Manager and a quick tour downstairs. As for the room, yes it was very compact. My Husband had to climb in and out of bed. Kettles in both rooms revolting. The cost was £86 for the night. If booked with the hotel directly they were going to charge me £110

Avoid Blackpool it's all tat and scruffy why do people still go its a dump.

Thanks for comment yes some parts of Blackpool has a strong decline while other parts are doing well.
