A spa is an added bonus to any hotel - says he. But they don't actuallly have a decent HOTEL yet! Sheez, guys. Get money rolling in and THEN add the extras. It's like having a supermarket with rotten food in it and spending all your energy on organizing a personal grocery shopping service.

Besides obviously being too focused on the spa which is putting the frosting before the cake, they don't seem to have any staff to help them man the reception area, restaurant and cleaning and upkeep. No matter how determined they are ,they are just two people and can't do it all on their own .

In its current state they could rent the hotel for a Netflix production…serving a Parmesan in the spa room to a flamboyant influencer while guests have a massive pillow fight the weekend before they refurbish 10 rooms to make a target goal.

As an ex hotelier, i feel like knocking both owners head to the wall. Empty rooms and restaurant = no revenue. Althot i work at internation luxury brands hotels, whenever i see below 80% occupancy i would be stress n worried thinking which part of operations did we lapse n i was only in mid management. Revenue n lost is very important. I would throw all those hideous painting and flower deco. Make it clean and simple. The those photo flames are hoarders to dusts n home for insects like ants n roaches.

The restaurant should look as good as the spa room and room 10. They do need to hire people too. I'm not sure what it's like running a hotel there but this feel like they're running an air b&b. I do hope they'll take her advise, and wish the brothers all the best!

If I were looking for a hotel there, their answers alone would make me look somewhere else. They don't give a toss. 😅oh man as a Brit that has lived in The States for a few decades now on and off I can tell you that they did not invent "parmesans" what they are poorly recreating is an Italian American dish called Chicken Parmesan...and it is never served with chips but pasta or on a fresh sub long roll.

That Parmesan dish is a health hazard. It looks so greasy. All that cloying cheese. Have a signature HEALTHY but tasty dish? Not difficult. Anyway, get the bedrooms and frontage done first. The Spa is not a priority. It's something to add when your rooms are filled and bringing in the money. With just the one brother doing the renovations, it'll take years. Rod unfortunately looks like a shady car dealer. I can't imagine they made a success. Why such a large enterprise as their first ( especially with no hotel credentials ). Something smaller in St Anne's would be better. Blackpool is a dump. Rob is ridiculous. Who's going to walk through without taking notice of the dinge, to the Spa room ( where he draws blood). Having run Spa on cruise liners, is NOT in Blackpool.
