I just watched the Defence of Ryza. 200 Imperial Knights storming against a captured city, with on it's walls a 100 Warlord and Reaver Heretic Titans. Incredible Bravery. The allied Princeps begging the Knights to stop, to turn back, for there is no hope. But the Knights will not yield, will not bear the Imperial Citizens torment. It is their duty to protect them and they will fulfill their duty. They march on, shaming the other Titans and Princeps into their offense. They are shot at, terrible losses, one after the another turning into red-hot husks. The fields are filled with their dead and only a quarter of them reaches the wall. But the ones that reached the wall bought their terrible vengeance upon their enemies, hunting down each and every one of the titans, flanking them, outmaneuvering them, attacking them from the ruins and under their void shields. One after the another, the signs of the Traitor Titanica is disappearing from the sensor of both Ally and Enemy alike. The enemy is in disarray, they are surrounded, their neighboring GodMachine lost, seize to exist and they are the next. They are hunted down, the city under cleansing. Only 7 remained to be killed by the reaching allies. Glory to the Imperial Knights! Honor in their names!

@@zachsmith1676 Unless its a key planet, they'd probably nuke it from orbit first. However I hardly doubt Tyranids can kill knights unless its a lone knight. A typical knight consists of 3-5 questoris knights and each have two Arminger class knight followers. Not to mention the dominer class knights. There's also marines and dreadnought to cover the knights at closer range.

You wouldn't want to be in the knight housholds.the fluff says the sociaty is obsessed with manners and cusstoms. For instance you have to memorise every name and battle every ancestor has ever fought in, it takes weeks to recite it. That's why they go into battle so much cause their so fucking bored. And sure the fighting is awesome, but that's probably about .1% of what they do cause knight world's are fairly peacefull

@@SarenSoran Nope, freeblades are more often deployed to wars than House Knights. Houses have their own feud, creed, loyalty with other planets and houses, hence they are less likely to deploy Knights. Houses also have its own internal affairs to take care of so often some Knights are left there to either take care of that or defend the house against potential attacks. A freeblade on the other hand makes his/her own decision. They can partake on any battle, with any troops (Marines, Guards, grey knights, cult mechanicus etc) they like against any threat, be it Orks, tyranids or chaos forces. Most knights opted to become freeblades to go on a crusade against chaos forces and most houses respected their decision. However, keep in mind it is the will of the House to whether accept or deny a Freeblade's return to their respective houses.

Yes those are Cerastes pattern Knights, they are an older pattern from around the time of the Horus Heresy (30k). Many are still used in 40k but they were largely superseded by the Questoris Pattern, aka the typical knight.

What is this, like, a 70-tonner with a ton of wasted pod space? Just 3 silly little guns, like, c'mon, you're not orks but give it some more dakka for Emprah's sake, this amount is not healthy. Swap the silly chainsword for some more healthy firepower(like in the last pic, see, not so hard, but nearly not enough either) and swap the even more silly for this setting machinegun for a way more sensible flamer. Damn the Mechanicus for digging in the petrified crap instead of (re)making new stuff and actually improving existing designs(what next, a tracked superheavy chassis designed solely for the role of carrying a moderately sized chainsword and nothing else?).
