Really don’t understand why shotguns stayed at 6inch range while pistols got buffed to 8. I literally never play navy breachers on anything but into the dark because of this.

I am convinced that they need 4/4 shotguns, or the 8th wound in the profile. Otherwise it is the C tier team. Very sad, I have my own breachers well-painted and now I face their uselessness… Thanks for the video)

Fun fact, Endurant was buffed. Previously Breachwall worked only if a unit moved into it opposed to touching the Endurant. Also vantage no longer let's you have visibility from breachwall.

What's the point in the C.A.T unit being allowed to use the Fall Back action if it can't even activate while within control range of an enemy lol. Also funny that, like the Squig in Kommandos, the Gheistskull can potentially survive the detonation based on the rules as written. About the Kill Op - if you take the CAT and Gheistskull your Kill Op wouldn't go down the 10, it would be 11 surely? Because you would have 11 operatives and the 2 robots The needing 2 boxes thing seems like an oversight. Hoping they reduce the operatives by 1 (keeping bots as half a choice each) and buff the team some other way

I have this team and they were pretty tough to use on the open boards especially against elites, but now without the stims and worse shooting and poor equipment they are really outmatched.

To say nothing of how they really nerfed the Axejack (you didn’t mention the change from having a 5+ FNP save if he charged which is far better than his new Emboldened) and as you did mention the fact that our melee weapons - which I guess as our shotguns are crap was supposed to be our main edge - are now just average. Feel like I’ve wasted my time and effort here on a team that really looked cool to me but have now been left to rot with crap rules to be honest :(

You should be able to cut through the walls of Gallowdark. The breacher is literally made to cut through bulkheads.

Some can be with magnets and a bit of creativity. Navy breacher are a more agregeous example as it is not even complete with one box.

Thanks for all the info! Quick question, I can't seem to find the answer online: The CAT and skull are both "half operatives". Can you take just the Geistskull or do you have to take them both? What does this mean for your kill op? Also, is there any reason to take the Surveyor / Void-Jammer if you don't take the CAT/skull?

You have to take them both, neither count for kill op! Yeah gives you extra activations

Are you sure endurant and gunners are 28mm and not 32mm? Manual of mine for 2nd edition kit sure, but still, shows they have 32mm

One change they made I dislike is the sergeants being worse to hit for shooting because I liked using mine as a very jank (but useful) backup 3rd long range shooter as with slugs they used to hit on 3s (5->4 and then slugs for 4->3)

@@CanYouRollaCrit It is a pro overall just sucks because the Sergeant really doesn't get anything unique to push him into taking a shotgun unfortunately. The opportunity for long range on 5s just isn't worth it over the melee weapon upgrade and more consistent to shoot something when you need it 8" pistol

GW has obviously made basically every team a 2 box team, ON PURPOSE. Once is a Fluke, Twice a Coincidence, Three times a Pattern; and pretty much every team I've looked at has become 2 box.

Only if you're going competitive, most teams are still only 1 box, including most of the prior season 3 teams and the two newest ones

I wouldn't put too much into what KZbin and Reddit say Ask anyone in the 40k hobby for a long time, and everyone should say the same: meta changes regularly, typically WAY faster than people actually hobby and build their teams I love this channel, but remember this is what these guys do for a living. 99% or more of players do it for fun and just want to hang out with their buddies. Your guys will be fine, especially if you learn how to play them well. So focus on figuring out the right activation sequence, how best the synergies work on your team etc. Just have fun, and play the crap out of your guys.. and remember to make a note of 1-3 things that you'd do differently every game. THIS will determine how good your guys are better than any meta list
