My favorite part of the shiogorath and shalidor quest is when Shiogorath lights the guys soul on fire to light the way for, and then the guy just dies 😅 and shiogorath just starts laughing 😂

Another fine addition to the ES Lore collection. As for books... no favorites, but for ideas; well not technically a book, given the time of year, _"A Midsummer Night's Dream"?_

I recommend reading "A Practical Guide to Evil", its written online by erraticerrata. If you like a mix between both serious and deep action and politics I recommend it. In the setting "Narrative" is an in-universe force. There are Heroes and Villains. A villain feels the compulsion to monologue, a hero believes in the righteousness of their own actions, etc. It uses the basic stereotypes such as "the Evil Empire", and creates narrative, political, and historical reasons why it exists, and how it operates.

My favorite book is the Lord of the Rings, but in case you've read it already, you may consider reading some of Tolkien's other work. If that doesn't interest you for some reason, Watership Down by Richard Adams is really good. Anyway, love the long videos, and I definitely learned something new. Keep it up!

Jim Butcher's Furies of Calderon series Keep the vids rolling, great work
@Levacque3 ай бұрын
How do you think it compares to The Dresden Files?
@ZombieAnt823 ай бұрын
@Levacque I've only read the one and found it okay. So I'd say Furies is much better as I was hooked on Tavi's adventure. Yet as I've not read all the Dresdan books it's an unfair comparison

More lore? Divines yes! This is the sort of thing Tale Foundry would cover in narratives and story telling methods.

The story of Lyrisius is really awesome, feels most like the ancient myths of our own world. But how come he had an Imperial name?
@Usagi333533 ай бұрын
Most likely it was an Imperial who translated the story and decided to give them an Imperial name like how people do IRL giving them English names

What kinda books do you like? Fiction or non? There's a really cool/weird fantasy sci-fi mix called "Gideon the Ninth" by Tamsyn Muir. Or an interesting (and disturbing) history of drugs in Nazi Germany called "Blitzed" by Norman Ohler. I got more recommendations lol

In other words, the ends justified.The means wow that sounds familiar I wonder if that's been hammered.That little nails been hammered over and over again in the But that's the games because you know it's not like they've ever done that and fall out.3 fall out 76.Drop a nuke, so you can get a legendary artifact.After all the ends justify the means Don't get me wrong.I wanna play that Play that because it does have some interesting twist Yeah, but back to my point they always revisit a morally ambiguous decision.Keep a book game.Two points keep a person , but what exactly?! Mind you I know the answer , so this question's more Rhetorical
