First congrats on 10K (it’s at 9.9 as I write this, but-). So many great sounding pedals out there right now-tube screamers, Dumbles, blues breakers-at this point I buy a pedal because I want to support the business, which is one reason I love SBT, and because the design is either beautiful or innovative. This pedal checks all those boxes.

They're really really different beasts. Klon Vs TS, A specific Artist's Dumble Vs a general albeit excellent dumble sound. Too many factors. Sorry for the politician answer.. Vote For Buddy 2024

@@jeffdubuque3755 is that another way of saying they are expensive pedals? Yes, I agree, indeed they are! From experience though, they do indeed use cheap mass produced Chinese PCB’s. Several problems with the Gladio and subsequent visits to my local ‘pedal tech’ and he was less than impressed with the build quality, particularly the PCB’s used. To their credit though, Cornerstone do make these cheaper components sound very good, but clever marketing has rather over inflated their prices…compared to the likes of Kasleder, Decibelics and VS Audio, to name but a few genuinely high quality hand built pedals from independent European manufacturers.

This is a ODS style + TubeScreamer (more TS10 style to match the Mayer vibe). Unobtanium is ODS/SSS + Klon. Each one has added switches for tweakability. Buddy demoed both so I recommend just listening back to back to see which is more to your taste.

The obtanium is also a true preamp. Meaning it could be used as an amp as well as a pedal with a pedal(klon). 😁 It is supposedly 2 identical circuits of 2 dumble amps on 1 side and an original klon on the other. The imperium is 2 *tweakable pedals dialed in for famous musicians tones😀 You could probably do with one or the other. But..... 😏 You know

@@bryangarcia662 well... The Gladio couldn't be just classified as ODS or SSS or anything else... It's not meant to mimic a specific Dumble model, that's the main difference with any other "D-style" pedal. It's very simple. It's Robben Ford tone in a box. Robben himself found the Gladio so aligned with his real tone that he's now using it in his pedalboard. So please, just leave the usual classification like (ODS or SSS) to other D style pedals. The Gladio is just something else. 😉
