It's also for sale on GoG in a patched/tinkered with version (same as Metal Fatigue for the Mecha RTS lovers and is a notorious git to get going). Just in case someone watches this and wants to pick up a copy of a great game.

I have the original disks, so I am glad to hear it can be found out there, since sales of this stopped a long time ago.

@@TheEdmon Lost my copy years ago, was nice when it popped up on GoG and $10 wasn't a big ask for a ready to run version.

I did play it. One of my all time favorite games.

It's really good. Other than some late game balance issues...

@@TheEdmon yeah. Not sure how to balance that, honestly. Maybe make the game lag into unplayable speeds like Stellaris does 😁

A classic, it amazes me how far we have come in graphics yet gameplay has not, and in alot of cases gotten worse.. Talk about development creep, seems to me that game development costs have all gone into art and cgi, versus good programming. This game and many others were what drove the industry towards better hardware, to bring in the graphics but I doubt they ever imagined it would of watered down the gameplay to whst we get from AAA developers today.

This was truly an excellent game and it's replacement has not been forthcoming... though I do think the end game was a bit unbalanced. Destructo-ray anyone?

I have not, I could never get it to work, even though I was given a copy which sadly I no longer have.
