Implementation of LCA and SROI on PROPER in Indonesia

To meet global needs, PROPER employs innovative assessments. First, the Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) evaluates companies' environmental impact mitigation across their main activities and the entire product life cycle (cradle to grave), introducing 1,193 eco-innovations and resulting in savings of 158.53 trillion Rupiah. Second, Second, the Social Return on Investment (SROI) measures and evaluates the social value derived from social innovation programs. SROI assesses social impact by analysing inputs (investments or used resources), outputs (results produced), and outcomes (wider social impact). By assigning a monetary value to social impact, SROI allows for comparisons between investments and the social benefits obtained. Third, Green Leadership evaluates CEOs based on exemplary behaviour, vision, process challenge, support for others, and encouragement, using Future Fit Society criteria in 2022 and extraordinary turnarounds criteria in 2023.
