I love this kind of analysis. Very inspiring. In interviews Chris Martin says he doesn’t know any music theory. I can’t imagine having that much intuition.

Great to see an analysis of contemporary popular music. Even a repeated melodic pattern over diatonic chords can form various suspensions that make the music interesting!
At times you're going a little too fast for me, but mostly I get it. One powerful idea explained... And now I'm going to be looking for it. Love that tune at the end.
