I know that Capture has an option to export an MA patch (so- yes!), but I don't know if Wyg has this built in.

When importing I choose dimmer fixture type. All works fine, but when I change my fixture type from dimmer to any other, my patch erases. What should I do?

Thanks so much Cat. When I import the layer it is not importing the Stageposition. Why is that? In my XML-file the stagepositions are stored. Anyway now I will watch your Video about PSR as that is much more versatile I guess. Keep up your good work 👍🏻

If anyone sees this, halp. So I did this, and it imported all fine, but now my access is denied to the patch and fixture schedule. "Multiuser access conflict or insufficient user rights" how do I get around this??? Im using admin user??

You have do write this in your commandline : cd/ Please Now you get back to the patch

Hi Cat, thank you so much, I love watching your tutorials. I got a Question though; Can you do an import show or PSR tutorial when importing from an other brand console? like ETC or a Hog? I run into a venue with these brands as their main desk and would love to import their basic show file like you do with PSR but I can't figure out how to do this. So please help!

@@Piefive89 nope sorry. But not a real solution found for this. I started to export the ma file and started editing it in a text editor, but ended up copying and re programming it cue by cue on two on-pc versions. Just manually copying the data cue by cue. 😒

Import looks at fixture type numbers as reference. To bring in everything including fixture profile, I recommend using PSR instead of import.

Any idea why if I just type import “xmlfilename” at layers everything works but if I go into CDlayers the results are file was not found in import export?
