Hey, sorry I forgot to mention that in my video. To change the framerate, you go to the video in the Media bin, right-click on it, choose "Modify" and then "Interpret footage". This will allow you to specify the desired framerate for that particular clip, using the "Assume this framerate" section.

You can Interpret the Footage (right click on the sequence in the bin). This will allow you to set the framerate to match your project. If that doesn't do it, you can apply Speed/Duration to it to stretch or compress the time it runs, but if you don't have enough images in the sequence, stretching it too far will lead to stuttering. Thanks for watching!

@@theaquaking4020 It's likely you have some images missing from the sequence... if Premiere finds one missing number, it will stop, thinking the sequence has finished. You could import the sequence of images as shown in this video, then you can right-click on the imported sequence and "Interpret Footage". That will allow you to change the framerate. Then, you can go to the portions that move too fast and use clip speed on them to speed up or slow them down, according to your needs. I hope this makes sense.

For a 10 seconds video. How many images do i need to shoot. Is there any formula?
@Graphicious
@Graphicious 4 жыл бұрын
It depends on your project's framerate. For example, if your final framerate were 30fps, then for 10 seconds you'd need 300 frames. For 25fps, you'd need 250. You can interpret the footage if you need to adjust it but this is the basic formula.

@Graphicious

Click the first image in the sequence first. If the box doesn’t activate, it means Premiere doesn’t detect the images in sequence - maybe you have missing numbers or it is not numbered in a way it understands. Try renaming all files to have clear numbers at the end, with padding zeroes.

@Graphicious
@Graphicious 2 жыл бұрын
It comes down to your sequence settings. You can export as HD or 4K, for better quality. Usually photos from your camera will be much larger, so I don't think you can actually export a video that keeps 'original quality'. You didn't specify where your photos came from and what their size was.

@@Graphicious in this case yes, but its just an effect, like if you have 5 images, and each one has slight changes between each images, you get the effect you created. Hello, I like to start a video on top of an “specific” frame of the image sequence but I don`t know how because the sequence looks like a video, I don`t have the info of each individual image on that clip, I hope you understand my question!
@Graphicious
@Graphicious 4 жыл бұрын
If I understand your question, then I think you want to import the images into a sequence, then place that sequence on the timeline of another sequence in Premiere (just like a regular clip), and then move your play head to where the desired frame is. You can use the single frame advance buttons to get to the exact one you need, and place your other video at that exact point, on a different track in your sequence.

Hi there, I'm thinking of rendering my animation frames from Blender, and completing the final video on Adobe premeier. Before putting all the frames onto Adobe Premier, do you recommend exporting the frames as"Open EXR" or "TIFF" format (in Blender)?
@Graphicious
@Graphicious Жыл бұрын
It depends on what you want to do, really but I would say use OpenEXR. It's 16-bit half float, it has better compression and I think it also helps stay away from banding. Best thing to do is to try a few frames and compare.

@@Graphicious It was all shot at 20fps - there are no more frames so...?
@Graphicious
@Graphicious 3 жыл бұрын
@@pegshealth So I'm not sure what you are asking. How to interpolate and add frames? Premiere doesn't do that, I think. Did you import frames and turned them into a video clip or was the REST of your project shot at 20fps? You can interpret the imported footage from the frames to tell it to be a different framerate, but that will obviously run out of frames faster, if you have a limited number.

@@Graphicious I was asking how to make the frames transition the most smoothly from frame to frame. I can easily just move a slider and my frames look like a movie. But when I put them in Premiere, the results look more choppy.
@Graphicious
@Graphicious 3 жыл бұрын
@@pegshealth I see, maybe you can try changing the frame blending, to make the movement smoother. Maybe this helps: ask.video/video/premiere-pro-cs6-106-titles-transitions/37-37-frame-blending

Does not work at all, i dont have the option "image sequence" when importing... and when i select every frame, and open it, they all are 5 sec long... not usable... I only have 24 Frames for a total of 1second, but it's instead 2min long... and no metter what i try i cant change it...

What OS are you on? Make sure the files you're trying to import are supported and that there are no gaps in the file name sequences and also that the names are in a format that Premiere can recognize and support. Something like: 00001.jpg, 00002.jpg, 00003.jpg and so on. If you have spaces or other characters like dashes or parentheses, it may not recognize that they are actually a sequence

Are your images numbered in sequence? The file names must have a number at the end, like _001.png, _002.png, etc.
