The Paragon Characters offered for free from Epic Games in the Marketplace are absolutely amazing and very easy to set up as your character in the Third Person Template. This tutorial walks you through the steps to set up a Paragon Character to replace the default Quinn character, and get the default animations working.
You can start with the default Third Person Template and start with this tutorial. No previous tutorials or work are required. You can also use this tutorial to make these changes to your own Third Person project.

Every Paragon character got arround 4 skins/variants, is it possible to delete the unneeded and keep just one to reduce the GB of the final game ?

I import the Paragon , but All i got is the Blueprint ++ But there is no mesh to replace the one I start with (the Pink underline) ... I dunno how to get this working !! trying for days now..

I tried with both Bellica and Zinx, but they looked weird and I did some searching, and I saw that most of the Paragon models have one less back bone than standard UE5.

@epsilon3569 thanks for letting me know! I haven't tried Bellica. I typically use Dekker, Terra, Twinblast and occasionally Wukong and Countess and haven't noticed any issues. I have also used Zinx briefly and didn't see what you reported. I'll keep a close eye on this moving forward and see if I can go back over some of the videos to test with different characters to find more problems.

@@rua893 I eagerly await the answer too, because it's still causing me issues. They're basically the only free assets available, and I figured changing the player model had to be one of the easiest first steps.

@@epsilon3569 ​ @rua893 i think i figured it out, if you have the same problem as me. you need not only change the "skeletal mesh asset" to the one of your chosen charcter, but you also need to change the "Anim Class" (can be found directly above it) to the one of your chosen character. that fixed it for me. hope this helps.
