1:24 This is profound. It's interesting that some people don't think things through before moving abroad. The decision to live in another country where you probably know nobody is one that should be made after careful consideration. It begins with analyzing your situation and defining your motive for relocation. Moving abroad doesn't work for everybody, that's why it is important to ascertain if that's the right step for you.

I moved to NY bcos i was coming as a permanent resident.i didn’t really get much information but i was happy i came as a PR.the bills omg i do overtime and the tax is killing me.here in the US we pay for health insurance it’s crazy.if you work more than 36hrs a week you pay monthly insurance.health insurance is poor here, I love Canada for that.

I believe you are wrong in one aspect of Taxes you mentioned. Taxes are not collected to bridge gaps between the rich/poor. Taxes are collected to pay for infrastructures
@WhizQueen4 жыл бұрын
I said one of the reasons of taxation. If tax paid funds infrastructures used by all and one individual gets taxed more than the other by their earning capability that could count as one of the reasons. You can read on Progressive tax system and its benefits. However, I agree with you as well, taxes finance infrastructures & basic amenities.

If after all this things you said about relocating abroad and your answer will be no if you are asked whether you would like to relocate back to Nigeria, then I think I like the no. Wealth is not defined by how much money you make.

They won’t refund you all your taxes. They refund you tax based on the income bracket your fall under and other factors.

I quite disagree when u say one can't save in a credit society. Saving habit has to do with discipline,no matter how little you earn,if you put your mind on it,definitely you'd achieve it.
@WhizQueen3 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment! You're absolutely right about savings habit having to do with discipline. But also in a credit driven society you need to manage a moderate level of credit(credit cards, line of credit, etc) to help with building credit reports to enable you access things like a mortgage. If you have a poor financial control owning a credit card could send you into debts.
