I don’t know how I missed this news but you guys were one of my absolute favorite storefronts to buy from. Your selection was incredible, the prices were fantastic, and even though I just started moldmaking literally 2 years ago you guys had a huge wealth of knowledge to give and were so open to questions I had. This one stings real hard, wishing you and your colleagues the best. I’ll do whatever I can to support the channel!!

Well, crap. Your tutorial videos were an absolute godsend to this amateur, our production of Macbeth had the most realistic head ever thanks almost entirely to your brilliantly clear guides on every step of the process. It's a grim sign for the state of the industry that a shop as resourceful and knowledgable as yours feels unable to go on. Unfortunately, it doesn't look like it's getting better any time soon... Your team and your voice will be missed. Your work made the world a better, more interesting place. I hope you'll find joy in whatever it is you go on to do next, and maybe even make some videos about that. I'll keep that hope as a bright spot in this gloom. Thank you, for everything.

Basic block mold, I think that was the first video that I've watched on this channel. You were doing a mold of a knife. It's not even listed in your videos anymore. That was like...15? years ago. Haven't missed a single video since then. This is really some sad news to start my day. Thank you for years of knowledge and entertainment. Take care. And be sure to always scrape the sides and the bottom of your container.

I literally just poured a full quart of 0010 for a massive project and realized I need more ASAP, got online to buy more and saw this. I'm so sad to see BITY closing. For what you're selling off, do you have anything left that's as close as possible to the 0010 that will be cast on a layer of 0010, or a recommendation for another place that's close/compatible? My group has just begun developing silicone skins for our humanoid androids. Your silicone was PERFECT for it. The face casts have been incredible; soft on the servo motors and plenty life-like. Thank you for being such a great resource for this project, as short lived as it may have been.

I hope you have fair winds and following seas as you seek out your new journey. Needless to say, I (and many others, I'm sure) am curious about the fate of the videos. When I first followed you almost 13 years ago now, I had a lot of hope that I would be going somewhere with mold making. Unfortunately, it never worked out. I quietly watched your videos with the hope that my situation would change or the old spark would come back. And, like you, I too had to give it up. Lacking anything to aspire toward, my interest waned until I stopped watching videos on mold making, casting and so forth. I am deadly sorry you guys couldn't make it further. I hate like hell that the bigger companies are driving you guys to extinction. Good luck to you. I too have to decide what the rest of my life will be about and I am dreading coming up with what that shall be. Take care.

??? I've been coming to this store for years for exploring new materials and methods. I *just* got a set of copycat. It's more than a little intimidating that I'll have to find another supplier. :( If you plan to sell any full body molds left, I will buy the hell out of it. Live and recorded entertainment funding is drying up due to inflation, interest rate increases, and COVID-led lifestyle changes. On top of that, for smaller stores the suppliers/manufacturers are being huge wanks and jacking up prices and/or issuing horrible contracts to stockists. Mostly to just offer them directly.

Your tutorials are really informative and interesting, really sad to see you closing shop... It's telling so often that a company is robbing the creative output of individuals to whatever measure they can and then get rid of the individual, hopefully you have now time to fully embrace your creativity and maybe through that get to a whole new industry, corpos are soulless unartistic methodactors at best and any human being with eyes can see this in all aspects they present themselves within.

Damn, sir ... that truly, genuinely sucks. Now who will I have to reach out to, in order to ask the questions that are so obvious that no-one's even bothered to ask them?! Mitch, I wish you all the best in your future endeavours, and for your gentle, honest, good counsel throughout the years. You'll be genuinely missed by me and by many others across the globe, who were entertained by your channel, and by your knowledge, and your willingness to share that knowledge with us all. But, be of good cheer, sir, as we continue to work at our own skills and our own knowledge bases, and pay it forward to others who are just starting out on and experimenting on their own adventures in this area. And, if you think that the lizard people have well and truly defeated everyone, just think of us Aussies ... now, most of us will have to deal (solely) with Barnes for information (extremely limited) or Rowe Trading (a wee bit haughty for my tastes!). Cheers, sir ... Noel (in Melbourne).

One of your viewers from Australia here, I got interested and started experimenting in sfx makeup when I was 12 years old, I turned 25 this year and have worked here and there in the industry. Your videos were and are a great learning resource! I thank you for putting so much time and care into your content for your KZbin channel and business. Well I'm sad to see you go I can understand why you're leaving. I love creating everything from sculpting, mold making, painting and applications. (In Australia there is no specialising you have to be able to do it all) But the industry particularly film is a dumpster fire going no where quickly 😓 everyone wants the world for next to no money and finished by tomorrow. I truly love creating but I've had to take a backseat and just stick to doing glam makeup as I can't handle the over working, stress and just down right disrespect that I have received. I hope you and your family are doing well and can continue to create great memories together. I will miss your videos, but hope you will have even more quality time with those who matter doing stuff you love because you enjoy it. ❤️
