I never understood why people would try and overstay and not follow a countries immigration rules. It rarely will end well and the Philippines is one of the cheapest and easiest countries to obtain an appropriate visa.

Actually, it is also very easy to work directly with the PRA (Philippine Retirement Authority) if you are seeking the SRRV or renewing it. No real reason an agency is useful unless you have some sort of circumstances that need to be sorted out.

Oh Mark your video's keep me going at the moment, such interest and calmness to hear. In the UK I am living a life of fear as to what is happening in our country. Never before felt like this. Wish I could pack up my home and move to the Philippines but no houses are moving through fear of the future.. Fear is surrounding us. Very sad. Thank you for such an escape from my reality♥♥♥♥♥ love to Jen and Rogan too

just got my 2 month extension today in Dumaguette, I've been here for 1 year and 10 months. Something seems to be happening with the BI, usually it's a breeze, pay your money, come back in 3 hours and pick up your passport with new extension. Today though it was the usual question, What visa is this for? Tourist for pleasure ma'am. Do you have a wife? No ma'am. Well you've been here for almost 2years, how much travelling around are you still doing? A bit but I live near a beach so no need to travel ma'am. Well Manila has told us you must look at a permanent residence option if you plan on staying longer such as a 13a if you can get married or a SSRV . Well ma'am I'm single so 13a isn't an option and I don't have the money for an SSRV. I thought ma'am that I could extend up to 3 years then leave for a day, come back and start again. We're not sure now Sir, Manila wants more foreigners that plan on staying to be permanent residents. Ok ma'am does that mean I'll have to leave and spend all my money in Thailand? So can I still get future extensions ma'am? It's up to Manila to decide, we'll wait and see. Ok ma'am goodbye. 😢😅?????? So somethins goin down at the BI methinks. They were asking everyone similar questions I noticed, telling couples they should get married for a 13a. They also wrote on my forms client has been informed about getting permanent residency😮😮

I knew about the 13A visa being invalid upon separation. You are absolutely at the mercy of your Filipina. She decides one day she's had enough and your 13A visa is cancelled. Always better to get the SRRV in my opinion. That is what I have. Very smooth to leave and comeback. Very easy to renew by yourself directly with the PRA. I have done that twice now. I can and am planning to stay here indefinitely and solo. The PRA is easier to deal with than BOI in my opinion. Far less people in line and far less waiting. In the satellite office I went to this year to renew... I was the only foreigner there when I walked in. 5 minutes later done. How many immigration offices are there that have that kind of turn around time? I don't want to even think about it.

I have a question about the annual fee of the permanent resident which my husband has to pay every first or second month of the year, what if we are going to live for a while in the states? How can we pay the annual fee if that means my husband has to show himself in the JRC office every time we pay the annual fee? Or is there a way that we can pay it online?. Thanks ❤

Hello Mark! How can we get in touch with JRC? I'm a dual citizen and my husband is interested to get a Resident status. How to accomplish this? I need help. Perhaps this guy will guide us for a fee obviously. Hope to hear from you and very much appreciated.

Best informative vdeo to date. One question i had, they say background criminal check. In the United States the local background check in your respective county is local, county only. An FBI criminal background is nationwide, which would they accept?
