They are so informative and she is so articulate and inspiring. One can tell that she adores her plants the way I adore plants! Also, my boyfriend found an Alocacia Amazonica/Polly at Kroger here in January & bought it for me. Well, it just kept killing off leaves no matter what I did, so I decided to finally repot it. All the roots were encased in fabric. There were 4 & now theres only one left, that I don't think is going to make it. I want to cry! You just can't find those anywhere around here, what few they get in are bought out so quickly. Just wanted to vent to people who understand my grief. :(

I love plants like you do. Sadly I have a kitten that likes to pee in the pots. 😞 Besides getting rid of the cat. Any suggestions on stopping cats from bothering the soil?
@christinekobzeff3 жыл бұрын
Hi Catherine! Maybe keeping the plants up higher in plant stands or shelves where it makes it too awkward for kitty to jump up and get in the pot. They also make repellent sprays or you could try a few drops of essential oil, I've heard cats aren't fans of citrus. I know others in the plant community have done videos on cats and plants, I think Nick Pileggi posted a video about a month ago on his channel. 🌱

Oh man, that really makes me feel so sad to hear. I've done so many diys, declutters, makeup and nail videos, I started feeling uninspired after a decade of doing them. Decluttering is amazing, but after my previous declutter series, there's not much left to declutter. I could do some organizing/cleaning videos. I honestly went through a period of craving something different, learning an art, something I feel passionate about, I love the art of plants so much, they bring me so much joy and happiness. They make stress, anxiety and depression melt away. I can't imagine home decorating without plants. I appreciate your honesty, thank you, it just makes me sad, that's all.
