I think they intended Cut to be on Sceptile for basically the whole game, which would give it a decent counter. (Since Grass/Dark & Grass/Water appears a lot) But if they wanted to do that they should have considered doing something about its actual attack stat.

I missed the Crawdaunt and Sharpedo rankings, but one okay thing about Crawdaunt is it’s one of the few Pokemon who does get Protect before Norman, so you have at least something for Slaking in case you have Krauser getting outsped I ended up using it up to Norman, then replaced it with Sharpedo right after. It’s kind of a good “last hurrah” for Crawdaunt before you just double its speed. If there is something with Protect that’s not the Crawdaunt line though (or have something to outspeed Slaking), then it’s probably best to skip it if you’re looking for a good Water type (especially with Sharpedo and Starmie right there when you get the Good Rod). You can get it just before Brawley, but it’s completely useless in both that gym and Wattson’s, and I really felt that nasty speed stat. It does make for a very good HM user though, learning all except Fly and Flash. Also for whatever reason, this thing leveled slower than my Salamence???

I like that slaking has truant for pretty obvius reason but kecleon a indeed normal Pokémon has color change which is arguably a terrible ability that do nothing but harm his user, and a non hoen mon like magcargo get reworked and kecleon get 20 hp

I beat hard mode with a mono-water team (Swampert, Ludicolo, Pelipper, Tentacruel, Kingdra, and Lanturn) and hot take: Ludicolo was better than Swampert. Rain Dance/Swift Swim is cracked and was a win condition for most major battles. Swampert felt too slow, frail, and ineffective with the addition of grass moves and ground immunities. And Earthquake was a liability with all the double battles.

I did a mono grass, without infinite rare candies. I was surprised by how few times I got hard stuck. A couple of the elite four required a few resets, but Ludicolo was a big part of that. It's just a shame it didn't get ice beam before elite four in this game.

12 hours may seem like a lot, but when you consider there's roughly 200 pokemon to talk about, that's only 3 and a half minutes per mon. Not counting the intro where we set up what everything is. I'd rather it be this way that a single sentence description

As much as i like the tropius buffs, it doesn't fix the main issue, but thats not the rom hack devolopers fault, its gamefreak, you would have to make a whole new pokemon to make it viable. Problem is, grass/flying leans towards offense, as it is worse than mediocre on defense, but Tropius wants to be bulky. It would honestly be better as mono-grass, with thick fat, and other said buffs, its not often removing a secondary type makes a mon better, but in tropius case, it actuallly would.

I'm sad i didn't stay up long enough to get to lunatone. In my playthrough with lunatone I actually never even used baton pass on it, I had it in high A to low S based off it's own merit mainly. You just have Calm mind, Hypnosis, Psychic move and Ice beam at an extremely early level and get moonlight later to potentially replace hypnosis. Also is in the fast exp group which I know you like. For your rankings I do think it probably takes a bit of a hit because you value oneshoting trash a lot more than me but in boss fights I actually think it is a low S tier to high A tier mon.
