Great tutorial! My only question is, how do I make an idle animation for the PLAYER character? Perhaps an AnimTree tutorial?

The skeletal mesh character is sideways and is not playing the animation. What could be the cause of this? I followed the tutorial fully.

Hey, thanks for the great instructional video! I have suvessfully done everything you taught us...unfortunately, when i save my scene AND and the package, it seems that all the animation placements are lost on my scene! My package and the Thief Girl are all there on the Content Manager but i always have to RE apply them into my scene every time i open my file! HELP!!

Hey umm i wanted to ask you if u know how can i make my character move and attack at the same time (i have my idle animation and then the moving animation but when i press left click to attack the character stops moving so that he could do the attack animation..how can i do this so he will continue running while doing the attack... :O

as a guy who wants to be an animator on the future, is mocap threatening in anyway the jobs of key animators for big budged games?

What might cause my looped animation to only play part of the animation sequence? For example I have looped seaweed that sways back and forth. When I play the scene it only plays part of the animation and then loops. In the AnimSet it appears to play the whole animation, while in Kismet it plays the partial animation in a loop. Do you have any ideas?

This doesn't hav anything to do with this video but y don't I have any assets in the assets menu ex. Grass, textures etc. I've seen everyone with udk tutorials hav some assets in the asset menu but I don't. Do I have to make all my assets myself?

but still how do i do it with moving cause he wont move.. maybe a kismet command or something..

Can anyone help me? when i uncheck the anim rotation only and compress the animation, it works fine in animset editor, but in actual game the skel mesh sometimes disappears depending on which direction i look, sometimes i can see it, sometimes not, wtf is this?

Have I to export every single animation as separated .fbx file? And can I make animations in 3ds Max?

It's easier to save them out in separated files, then you don't have to remember when one animation start and another starts and yes you can make animations in 3ds max.

When I try to do it the eyes won't show up in the .fbx when I import into Unreal does anybody know why? I know it's in the file because when I re-import into maya they show up it just doesn't show in Maya and I know the Normals are not reversed.
